Hi,
My interview was on 7th Nov 2012 at the US consulate in New Delhi in which I was told that my visa is approved, I had filled the premium courier service VFS form for passport delivery, Can anybody please let me know how to track my passport or if I can collect it from a particular place.

Hey Guys,
I am in huge worry right now. I had my H1B interview on 7th Nov and it was approved.
Now i still dint get my passport. I have not paid 300 rs so my delivery would be under normal one but still its been more than a week.
Any body is in the same queue. My status is shosing as ORIGINATION SCAN.
Please let me know if somebody is in the same queue. I am from Bangalore

On 9 th november i attended h1b visa at calgary,canada.
i went to embassy around 7:40 as i am having appointment at 8:00AM..
1) security check.
2) Finger prints section.
3) Next they called me for VIsa interview.
1) are you hanging your employer now? I told yes.
2) Then he verified my assport as i am having already h1b and L1 visa stampings.But i never been to US.
3) After verifying my passport he asked how many countries you worked till date? I told 4(canada,paris,uk,sweden).
4) he told your visa approved and your passport will come to Loomis office.

Thanks to IMMIHELP forum for sharing valuable information .
OFC was 8 Nov at Delhi- It was simple . if you are going alone than you can be in problem if you are carrying cellphones so better you keep your phone in the car or don`t carry it.
Visa Interview was on 9 Nov 2012 at Delhi Embassy they can keep your mobile at security .

H1-B visa interview process
Hi Folks,
Today i.e., 9th Nov 2012, first time i went to H1-B visa interview with the consulate in chennai US embassy. My appointment was scheduled at 9:30 AM.I reached at 8:30 to the office. I would like to share my experience about the interview.
The process is as follows,
outside of US embessy office, There were 2 seperate queues.
In the left side queue they verified the CEAC confirmation and the appointment letter. when its done we moved to the right side queue.
In the right side queue, they verified the same and did the stamping on CEAC confirmation page.
After above process done, they allowed me to enter inside the US embessy office.
when we enter inside, The first step they had done is scan the documents manually. This process is done to ensure that we are not carrying any electronic devices, mobile phnes, CD's ..etc.
Once the scanning is done, they allowed me in the next hall. Here i got the token number which is for both the processes finger print and the consulate interview. here i got 322 number.Finally my number came and went to the counter and given the finger print scanning.
Then we moved to the next building with the same token number for the consulate interview.
Finally my number came and went for the interview. here my counter is 23. The questions are,
1. Who is your employer?
Ans: YYYY
2. Who is your client?
Ans: YYYY
3. Is your employer and the client is having the direct relationship?
Ans: Yes
4. Is there any vendor inbetween them?
Ans: No
5. what project you are going to do?
Ans: Blah blah ..
Give the proper answers for 3rd and 4th questions. Since my company is not followed the EVC (Employee - Vendor- Client). So, I had given the proper an
swers.
After that, the golden words dropped from the consulate "YOUR VISA GOT APPROVED".
Be confident while you give the answers to the consulate. You get it definitely.

Visa Interview May 2012
My Visa interview was around May.
I went to the US consulate in Chennai and my interview was in the early morning around 7:30
First you will be going through the security check and then the document check line and finally the interview.
My interviewer was a white lady in mid 40's
Me :Hello mam
her: hello, can i get your file
me : sure
her: what company are you working for
me: name of company ( full time company)
her: what are you working on there
me: I work as a developer in my company and work under the MIS ( a basic job desc follows)
her: where were you working before that
me: my previous employer ( a full time company)
her: can i have your pay stubs
me: give it to her
her: where were you working previous to the other company
me: tell her about my previous company's and that they were consulting company's.
and also give her a letter from my current company ( this letter states that i am working there currently and employed full time by them and important that they give visa)
She says you will get your Passport in mail
Note: i am working as a full time employee

H1b stamping experience in hyderabad
8th Nov - Ofc appointment.
It was very fast, just 10mins. They take your pic, finger prints. Make sure whatever printout of DS-160 you take at that time should have a clear picture of yours. preferably color printout.
9th Nov - Visa appointment
My appointment was at around 8am. This is my second term of H1B, interview was very cool. The officer was very young. I went with a smiling face.
VO: Hello, how are you?
Me: Hello Sir, i am good how about you.
VO took my passport and stapled documents (ds-160, copy of I-797, token receipt)
Later for a minute he was talking with other officers and made me to wait for approx 2mins. I kept a smiling face throughout.
VO: Sorry for the delay
Me: No problem sir
VO: So, you studied in xx university in USA?
Me: yes sir I graduated in 2008
VO: What was your major?
ME: computer science sir
VO: How long have you been working with current employer?
Me: answered month/year
VO: What is your job role?
Me; Firmware development engineer
I think he didn't quite catch that
Me: It is sort of software development work on embedded platform
VO: What is your work location
ME: Sir, I work as a full time employee and our company's head quarters is in Milpitas, CA I work from the same location
