I went to Hyd consulate today for my H1B. My appointment time was at 8:45am. I entered into the consulate at sharp 8:15am.
Had security check, documents verification, followed by finger printing and then Token number was issed. Eagerly waited with tense for my token number to get announced. Today crowd was not that much heavy.Finally went to interview counter at 8:45am.
Questions asked :
1)Why are you going to US?
2)What are u going to work on ?
3)Educational Qualifications.
4) Have u read the instructions.
He then told me that ur visa is approved and we will be sending the passport to ur address.
No documents asked. Interview went cool. For me it was just below 1 min.
Be confident and cool , always be with a smiling face.

I faced the following queries at the port of entry and I could through.

1. Why you came here ?
A: Got an offer from a company here and I am going to join the company on this coming Monday
2. You got this H1B a year and half back, why didn't you join that time ?
A: Well, due to some personal reasons I could not join that time
3. May I know the personal reason?
A: I got married that time and I just wanted to spend some time with my family and so could not join them then.
4. Is that the same reason you could not turn out to this offer or because of no projects ?
A: No, just because of my personal reasons
5. What is your client ?
A: There is no client, I am going to work in an internal project in this company(depends on your client project, if you have a client project then say 'xyz' is my client, make sure you have the client letter in hand)
5. what kind of work are you going to do in this company and when are you going to start the work ?
A: Software work(Web development), I am going to start the work from this Monday onwards
6. Where are you going to stay ?
A: In Iselin town
7. When did you last speak with your company guys ? is the offer is still open ?
A: I spoke to them very recently before I boarded the flight, and Yes, the offer is still open
8. Do they know of your Itinerary ? Can they identify you if I call them ?
A: Yes, they know about my travel and my colleagues are waiting outside.
9. Is it your first time travel to US ? Have you visited any countries before ?
A: This is my first time travel to US and I have not visited any countries before
10. Can you show me your "Labor contract agreement" ?
A: Was trying to pick it out from the file, he said OK ok..all right !

Dear friends, I need your suggestion/help.
I got H1B visa in October-2008 for 3 Yrs. I didn't pay anything to H1B sponser company. Now, Its been 1.5 yrs since I got H1B but my H1B employer has not call me. Whenever I call him , he say "we have not work now, we can not call you. If you will come then we will not provide you any accomodation.."
NOw, My questions are as follows.. Pls help me if you know...
1. If i don't go US during my H1B period then can i eligible for apply next H1B after my currect H1B period complete?
2. I want to go US if and only if my H1B employer call me. Becasue i don't go there without job assurance. But if my employer don't call me during H1B period then Can i go for next H1B with different employer after completed the current H1B period?
Please help me.

H1B stamping @ Hyderabad on 29th March 2010
My appointment was at 8:45 AM. Went inside around 8:15. Security check was about 5 mins. DS forms were verified at another counter and was issued a token. Interview was simple. No document was asked.

My wife is going for H4 stamping on Monday. I have completed DS160 without photo. It was not fit into their requirement. She has printed photos with her. Can she take photos at the interview time.

My H1 is expiring on Sep, 2010
My H1 is expiring on Sep, 2010. I have never entered US on H1. Some one saying that I need to enter the us at least 6 months before my visa expires. Is it true? .Please advise
