Hold H1B and staying in India for 1 year 4 months
I got my H1B and never went to US as the conditions were bad?
1. Will I get into any problem on entry - on port?
2.Can some suggest me can is it good time to go there and market is OK in US?
3.If I dont use the visa for till the validity period - Is it a problem? Should I cancel it if I not gonna use it.

221(g) green form at New Delhi consulate
Hi All,
I have been through an interview on 22 Feb 2010 but due to VO's doubt on the company, she issued 221(g) green form.
Interview started like:
Q: Have you been to US before
A: Yes on business visit for a month.
Q: Why exactly you went to US
A: For knowledge transfer session and then i
had to elaborate on the same.
Q: Which company you are going to work for and
why.
A: I will work for YYYY company and for their in-
house operations.
Q: What does the company do?
A: Its a product based company working for
telecom providers and so on.
Q: But its a consulting company then how do you
work for in-house operations.
A: Then i had to explain about their product and
the nature of work required for the same for
which i was employed. Also i will join their
Indian office after 15 days for a month n then
to US.
Q: How many people does the company have?
A: It has more than 100 people. I counted with
respect to all locations worldwide.
I think then she got some doubt or so and then issued me the green 221(g) form asking for various details about the company including W2-forms and Unemployment wage reports with list of employees etc.
I also asked her if I have to attend the interview again but she denied and told me that we will take up your case once you submit all the documents at the earliest.
I am going to submit the document within 2 more days to the VFS office.
Anyone having any idea as to how much time it will take to further process and stamp the visa.
Or it can lead to total rejection as well
Also i don't understand that when people sitting in US verified everything about the company and then only issued I797 then why these people again ask for all this.
Please answer if anyone having any idea to it.

h1b renewal stamping
hi, initially I hv taken appointment in Chennai and they had issue in scaning my DS-160 barcode. They asked me to fill DS-160 and come again.(Please take print out from 2 or 3 diff printers to avoid this issue). There was only one counter and the lady visa officer is very unprofessional and shouting for docs etc.. and most of them going out with sad faces. So I decided to avoid chennai, based on suggestions from my frens and tuk apntmnt in Mumbai.
In Mumbai, they hv collected docs 3 days prior and I hv attended apntmnt at 12:30PM on 23rd Feb 10. Everythng went in a very professional manner and after formalities went to officer.
Me: Hello gud aftrnn
VO: Hello
VO: Wt r u gonna do thr?
Me: Gonna work for so and so comp
He has seen prev stamping and asked
VO: Is it the same company as earlier?
Me: Yes
VO: How long u hv been working thr?

Me: explained
VO: tell me one scenario how u successfully implmnted soln.
Me: explained abt work and scenarios. He z just checking my confidence, not technical part of it.

1) Which company u r going to work?
Ans:- I told "integral Consulting services".
2) Who is ur client?
Ans:- I told "going to work for in-house project".
3) Is it consultancy?
Ans:- I told "it is a IT firm""
4) How long u have been working?
Ans:- I told "I am going to work them but now i am working with Amtex systems".
After some time he gave 221g blue form saying that he is not satisfied with the documents and wanted more documents to be submitted to the VFS office for the stamping process.I went to the VFS office and they asked me to submit the required documents at the earliest. The contents of the blue form is as follows:
From my end:
1. Passport
2. Copy of original DS160 confirmation page
3. Complete I797, I129 (Petition for non immigrant visa) form and labour condition application
4. Blue form(221g) copy
From Petitioner end:
1. A copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed to USCIS
2. A copy of the employment contract or letter of agreement signed by you and the petitioner
3. Petitioner income tax return fohe last two years and financial statements
4. A notarized list of all the petitioners employees of the job site listed . The list should show all the employees names, their specific job titles, start and end dates, their individual salaries and immigration status.
5. State employment wage reports, showing all wages paid to each employee in the state, for the past three quarters as filed to :
1. all States
6. A detailed and specific description of the internal development project to which you will be assigned. Include a complete technical description of the project, employer,imeline,current status,number of employees assigned,worksite location,and marketing analysis for the final product.
Pls any help would be appreciated

Original Notice of Action Form I-797 required for H4 visa stamping?
Hi,
I am on H1B visa, and currently working in the US. My wife is interviewing for H4 visa (dependant visa) in my absence at the US consulate, Chennai.
I was wondering if she needs my original Notice of Action Form I-797 or
photo copy of that is sufficient enough. Just asking because, at vfs-usa.co.in it was mentioned that she needs original.

HYD H1 stamping
My case:
I'm on EAD for 3 years of residency, and got job and my employer sponser h1 visa. Reason to change to H1? My spouse Green card is taking long time to approve.
I kind of worried since I'm changing my status from EAD to H1
V.o: Documents please..
V.O: Your passport will be delivered in 5-7 business days.
that's it.
In port of entry:
Officer: You are not in parole any more ah? (seeing my last Advance Parole stamp)..
Me: I'm using my H1 now.
Officer stamped..that's it.
My observations in Hyd: Please talk clearly, I noticed one candidate speaking fast and VO could not understand a bit.
