1. I got my Hi visa approved and need to for Visa stamping in chennai.,my employer is facing some difficulties in getting client letter......also I am not sure whether he has any product being devoloped to show inhouse proj documentation !! In this condition what to do???? Is it so that Vo checks TaxReturns clearly if u keep inhouse proj..? is there any link between TaxReturns and Inhouse project Documentation?........... Can u pls clearly write what was ur answer for questions like " Tell me some thing about your project(Client/Inhouse) ?"
2..) Also I am 2007 passout working in Satyam Computers, I have only 1 year 4 months Exp... Actually I am working in Testing-Financial but going to work in Java /Oracle domains? how to justify? Kindly mail in deatil.

ME: Handed over the Folder to her.
VO: What's ur educational Qualification
ME: MBA
VO: Where are you Working now?
Me: I am working in YYYY Comapany since YYYY months.
VO: How many employees are there in this company?
Me: ZZZ
VO: Before that wher you worked?
Me: I worked in YYYYY company for ZZZ years and months. I have a total experience of 4 years and I.T experience of 3 years.
VO: What's ur I.T specialisation?
Me: I work on SAP and the modules in SAP I work is YYYY YYYY YYYY ZZZ... Told 3 to 4 modules.
VO: Is this a client project or Inhouse Project?
Me: It's a client project
VO: Who is the client
ME: told the client name
VO: where will you be implementing SAP? Final client
ME: I am not sure of the final client.
VO: Which stage is the project in?
ME: The project would be starting in the first week of December & I would be joining one of the existing projects.
VO: Do you have the Agreement letter between Your Company & Client?
ME: Ya. I do have. Handed over the Agreement & also handed over the letter from the client which says I would be working for them.

She didn't aske me a single document, not even my education or work experience letters. Not even the Tax documents & wage reports from the US company.
Tips:
Be neatly dressed with a Tye and Full sleeves plain or stripes shirt.
Be confident and answer by looking into the face of the Visa Officer.
Give short & to the point answers but do not give Monosyllable answers..
eg: wher you work?
don't say ZZZ... say " I am working for YYYY company since YY years".
If it is a Inhouse project then have the project description.
Most important docs:
Client letter
Agreement b/w client & your company
Tax returns for 2 years
wage reports
Letter of definite employment from the personnel manager of the comapny wen you enter USA.
Thats it.....
Be confident and have a corporate look,,, dats where you get 50% of your visa.....

H1 Transfer while on B1
Hi Friends,
I got into a strange problem.Would appreciate if someone can give their feedback.I am having H1B stamped last year from employer A and I didnt make any travel still in India.Now I got a B1 stamping from employer B .So can I go on B1 later while in US can I transfer my H1 from US itself from employer A to another?In usual case if I get H1 stamped I am supposed to enter only with that employer VISA.can anyone guide me ?

H4 visa interview experience

The following documents of the principal applicant(PA) should be carried along with the interview appointment letter and the HDFC bank slips:
1) Full passpot xerox of the PA
2) I-797 document of the PA
3) copy of I-129
4) Employment letter
These documents should be filed before going to the interviewer.
Probable documents which the interviewer may ask you during the interview:
1) Payslips of the PA
2) Marriage reg certificate/photos

They have asked very few questions abt Current employer , Experience and my previous US Visit.
But somehow they were not confident abt US company.
They have asked to come again with IT returns ,Unemployement wage report,Employee list of the US company on any working day to the Consulate.
My US employer is ready to give those Doc. and they are genuine Documents.
Can anybody had same exp. and what was the final outcome?

Dekho bhai log.......faltoo may tension nahi lene ka.........H1 visa k lia sab say jo jaroori hai ......o hai "PROPER VALID DOCUMENT".
Agar documents proper hai to samajh lo 80% kam ho gaya.............
Second one.......Interview may thora confidently bolna...........rata...rataya same Q poochtay hai........yea forum sahi hai........is ka Q/A dekh lo kafi hai............

Thanks for the site and i will make a caution regarding this site....
Please read the posts but don't ever imagine that you willl get the same kindof situtaion..
In my case i have attend the ambassy on 24th OCT 2008 . This is my second time first i have attended the ambassy on Nov 2006 at that time ihave all the documents which all the readers and others are writting like TAX,Project Details .... having all these documents also i havebeen refused to issue a VISA . This time i don't have any such documents. and i got the VISA with few 3 Q's..
Me: HI
VO: HI How are you?
Me: Im fine
VO: Are u MCA ?
ME: Yes, Im master of computer application
VO: How did you find this Employer
ME: Thouggh a JOb site (xxx.com)
VO: Did you pay any thing to them ?
ME: No, They process for free..
VO:Which project u will be working there?
ME: Im not aware of the same. Once i land in the US i will be alocated into a proect by resource manager..
VO: You can go ..

Thats it went like some thing was happened and i hope this we need to be confident with documents or without documents thats all it works.....

I have been to Chennai Embassy on 24th August.
I went to VFS office at 9.30 am though my intrvw time was mentioned as 12 noon. It took amlost 2 hrs to get inside the VFS off. But u need not go so early because u are sent inside only 15 mins before ur intrvw time mentioned in the appointment letter.
After getting inside, documents have been verified. after verification i was asked to go next building.
There was a very big queue which i havn't expected. There I've waited 4r 2 more hours.
Then finally my turn has come up.... There was a old lady, I greeted her with a gentle smile and she complemented me "Nice Shirt" (It was a li8
Blue Shirt).
She asked me
1) About current employeer and past employer.

2) About Current assigned Project and previous Projects that I've worked on.
ZZZ
3) About US Employer and Location
ZZZ
