Reached VFS office at 7.40am
At VFS lounge; came to know that : Visa interview process was running bit late for the day.
All 9am batch people were taken to consulate at 9.30.
Keep Passport, Interview letter and i-797 in hand (for H1)
Directly in security check.
He asked me to remove my wrist watch(metal) and Belt.
Checked all plastic bags.
Gave Me wooden stick, my bags and belt n watch.
Entered inside.
There is one counter which will give you back, your DS156,DS157 and documents which u have submitted in VFS office 5 days back. Also 2 pink color tokens.
they will also guide you to the Finger check counter.
At Finger check counter, after finger check, they will take Passport, i-797, interview letter, one pink token and all docs given to you at earlier counter..
Then you have to wait in waiting area for your token no. announcement. Hold pink token in ur hand.
After announcement of you token no., you have to go and stand in front of the called counter no.
Visa Officer (VO) wil call you inside, by signing with his/her hands.
I opened the door, "May I...?"
Entered..
ME : "Very Good Morning"
VO : "Good Morning, token please"
ME : gave the pink token
VO : "Why U want to goto US?"
ME : "For working in USA" (purpose of visa; visa definition)
VO : "Why U want to work in USA?"
ME : "I have been working work YYYY US client for almost zzz yrs now, So now I want to work in the close client environment.
Vo : "So r u going to work for YYYY in US?"
ME : "No. I will be working for YYY company in US (name of your US company i.e. Employer)"
Vo : "Ur project?"
ME : said the client name
Vo : "ohh" entered something in his system...
VO : "U r going to work as in?"
ME : designation given in ur offer letter... I also specified that I m computer engineer (B.E) by qualification
Vo : He jus turned my DS156 to see my qualification "technology?"
ME : said the technology name (vvv).
VO : "oh..vvv...Any language?"
ME : said the computer languages names related to my technology
VO : "How much they r paying U?"
ME : said the package specified in the offer letter (per annum)
Vo : "So where r U goin to work in US"
ME : said the city and state name.
Vo : "Alrite.. Ur Visa has been issued.. U will get ur passport in 2-3 days" (returned the I-797)
Me : Thank U
Vo : Thank U
He did not asked for a single document.

H1 Abuse!!
H1 visa is an abuse to foreign workers. Desi consultants are the only people to get benefit from it as they get paid. The only thing they give us is a H1 visa (for that money) and nothing else. Some desi consultants are complete fake who just take the money and fail to get the visa itself for the foreign national. They make hell lot of money by employing people from india, pakistan, bangladesh and sri lanka. They cant get us decent jobs and neither can they provide good standard of living to foreign workers. Its like living in a jail.
I hope US changes this whole H1 system and introduces a more efficient visa which could be based on inidividual experience and points system leading to a permanent settlement or international experience gain.

I need some information guys...
Hi,
Today i attended my h1 visa interview but i got 221(g) white paper in that they need 2 more docs from my employee..
3 years tax returns of the company,
contract between the clint and company.
So my question is if i submit these documnets how meny days it will take to get my passport and my all documnets?

He didn't ask single Question to my Wife.. and documents about marriage.
he asked questions are as under:

2. Who is ur Current Employer?
3. What is the name of ur usa emloyer?
4. What did u do after ur graduation?
5. How much experience in ur current employer?
6. What is ur project name, role & responsibilities?

I am saikrishna recently i visited mumbai consulate for non-immigrant visa. So i got Yellow paper with a query and i got back my passport and yellow envelop.
I got mail from Mumbai consulate saying that "This is to inform you that the administrative processing for your US non-immigrant visa application has been completed." i need to submit my Passport and Yellow paper with envelop in VFS office. I am staying in Nagpur(MH) so my brother can submit those documents instead of my present. Because before going to Mumbai consulate my brother submitted my documents instead of me in VFS office Pune.
So please revert this mail that my brother can submit my Passport and Yellow papper with consulate mail print out at Pune VFS office instead of my present or can i post my documents?

i have attended the interview on 6-oct-2008
Vo asked me project is internal or cleint i said its internal project and he asked me to show discription of the project
after cheking in the computer for few min..he gave 221(g) white form and asked me to submit my employers federal tax returns,wage reports with the passport
is this case serious??
