If you say it's a inhouse project, dey will ask for Project dscription & also see the Tax documents & wage reports.

If you say it's a client project, dey will ask you for a Cleint letter & also agreement between your employer & the client.

It also depends on your prebious experience, educational experience & the employer you are going for.If they all are good den he may not ask you for client letter & other stuff.

So, it's better to have all otherwise you are sure to get a 221(g) blue form askin for additional documents.

Thanks

List of all documents I collected for H1B stamping
Guyz,

These are the following list of document I carried for the H1B stamping. I had carried a harmonium folder file to collect all these. This list might not be exhaustive for your individual needs and have collected according to my knowledge might be useful to u. The entire file was weighing 2 kg after i collected all these things! I had a photo copy or scan of all the documents before i had went to the interview which i didnt carry it along. I had browsed this website many a times and I think I need to repay it. All the best.

H1B Successful Stamping in Ottawa, Canada, Oct 2008
Hello,

I just wanted to briefly discuss my experience in Ottawa, ON on Oct 9, 2008. I went there for an interview and people were really really nice, fair and friendly. Unless you have been in US illegally, or you have been in jail, or anything is wrong with you or your document; otherwise, you will not have a problem getting a "golden" stamp on you passport . Be real, friendly, honest and you will most likely get it the next day at 3 pm. I'm from Kosovo, in case anyone is wondering, and my husband and I both went for the interview, same time, same window, and it went great.

Best of luck....I'm open to questions.

Nora

Got H1 from Delhi Consulate
Hi all,
Here's my experience...
My interview was scheduled at 10.00 a.m. on 5.11.2008. But i reached the consulate at 8.45 a.m. Entered in line, got my documents checked, got my finger prints done and they made me stand in first row first number for interview... Everything happened fastly with me.. After standing in row for 2 mins, the visa interviewer called me.
I was infront of visa interviewer at 9.00 a.m.. He looked at me. Gave a look at my file. n then started..

VO: From how long are you working in current companny?
ME: since last September

VO: Mam, I said how long?
ME: its around 9-10 months

VO: Whats your qualification?
ME: B-Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

VO: In which company are you going?
ME: i answered..

VO: What will be the project?
ME: I'l be working on ProducerOne project. It is an insurance related project for the insurance carriers.

VO: Who is the client?
ME: It is an internal project.. an in-house project

VO: OK MAM, its approved. You'l get your passport in 4 days.

He didn't see any document in my file.
It was just a 1 minute interview. I was outside the embassy at 9.05 a.m So, just in 20 minutes, everything was done.
The things to be noted are... Your clothes( should be totally proffessional), You should look neat and tidy, confident, prompt and to the point answers, well-managed file and luck.. :)

My Experience of H1 - B interview-Mumbai
I entered into the cabin with smily face and greeted the visa officer with good morning
Here are the questions vo asked me :
1. What is your basic graduation ?(Ans:-Your degree)
(After this quesiton vo was busy with his computer for 2 minutes. He begged my pardon for the same)
2. Where are you working currently?(Ans:-name of current employer)
3. How do you come to know about the company(not my current employer but the company who filed my visa) ?(Answer:- They advertized in TOI - ASCENT and I responded to that with my profile)
4. Tell me somthing about the projects you are going to work .(Ans:- 1.name and description of the project mentioned in your offer letter
(if it is not there, tell him name and description of any one project you know )

5. Tell me something about the company(Ans:- location , headcount, annual turnover and areas in which the comp work)

He did not ask me any document.

Suggestions:-Don't be too explainatory. Be specific, precise and audible.Do not show any desperacy/tension. Be cool and patient.Dress in a perfect formal wear.
