My B1/B2 visa got rejected 2 years ago under 214(b). I have applied for H1-B this year and my interview is on 5 Nov.Any pointers or help or any similar cases who got Visa. Please help.

I got Sucessfull stamping at MUMBAI counselate
Reached VFS office at 7:40
At VFS lounge;came to know that:Visa interview process was running
bit late for the day .All 9am batch people were to counselate at 9:40
keep passport,Interview latter and i-797 in hand(for H1)
Directly in security check
He asked me to remove my wrist watch(metal) in Belt
Checked all plastic bags.
Gave Me wooden stick,my bags and belt n watch.
Entered inside.
There are one counter which will give you back,
they will also guide you to the Finger check counter.
At Finger check counter,after finger check,they will take passport,i-797,interview letter,'
one pink token and all docs give to you earlier counter.
Then you have to wait in waiting area for your token no. announcement.Hold pink token in your hand
After announcement of you token no., you have to go and stand in front of the called counter no.
Visa Officer(VO) will call you inside.
I opened the door,"May I...?

me:Good morning Madam!How are you doing today?
VO:No Response
Vo plz pass the pink token.
me:I passed on pink token to her
VO:what is your educational Qualification?

Do not come to US on h1b visa
Hello all,
I am heamng desai,the AVP of softpath systems, Atlanta,GA based desi consualting company. My advise to you all people is not to come in USA on h1B visa with any company because the job market is really really bad in US and i am not able to place people whom i brought from gujarat last year. Its really embarrassing for me. I didnt know that this could happen to some of those whom i bring here. My company CEO, ravi chandar is not giving money for food to consultants and just living expenses he is providing. This is bad. How come anybody can bear food expenses in USA? Also her wife, sushumna, she is also one of the bad people.
Trust me don't join any company in this situation as this is goinng to be very bad time in US and just stick to your jobs in india or you can loose that also.
God bless you and gives you some good thinking.

My Visa is Rejected by USCIS
Hi All,
My application was picked in random-pick,i got a mail from my employer.There was query on my application,recently i came to know that my application was rejected.This is because my employer credentials are n't good.
There is an option of filing a petition with Administrative Appeals Office in Washington, DC through my employeer,but as his record isn't good.i am looking for a new employer.
My question is "Can i file a petition with Administrative Appeals Office in Washington, DC through a new employer."

Yesterday i attended H1b visa interview in Chennai consulate.... there i faced following questions..I had an interview with lady

VO : How U came to know about this Job?
Me: I saw there is an ad in Dice.com and i applied their. Then i had an technical interview by xxxx person in that company..

Me : Absolutely, I have excellent track record and experience with the software tools, products and Enterprise projects, which xxxx company, looking for.

Hi All,
First of all thanks to all of you people who posted there exp. regarding Visa interviews.
I attend interview in chennai consulate yesterday i.e 23rd Oct 2008. Vo asked me only 3 questions, in chennai consulte there are much people yesterday almost all queues are empty or having only one person ,
When i enter the interview hall after fingure prints over, directly they asked me to stand on counter 4.
My interview is went like this,
VO: Hey how are you.
Me: fine thank you how r u.
VO: fine, doing good.
I hand over the file which is given at figure prints time.
VO:he looked into my client letter and look in to system , typing somthing after 4-5 minutes he asked me the first question, what is your role in US company.
Me: Programmer Analyst.
VO: again he looked inthe the system and client letter after 4-5 minutes he asked me the second question, what is the project that your going to wrok for.
Me: answered the project name and project description.
VO: after 5 minutes the golden words came out of this mouth HAVA NICE TRIP we will courier your passport.
I cannot give any body any tips or tricks , but one thing is sure if you have all the papers perfect then that's it you will get it.This is my experience.

I got successful stamping at Delhi Consulate
I got successful stamping at Delhi consulate on 20th Oct 08 and got my visa on 22nd Oct 08. On 20th when I went for stamping there was not much rush and very few people for H1 stamping. After going through finger printing and security check I was standing in queue for H1 visa interview. There was just one counter for H1 as there were just 7-8 people who were there for stamping and on that day most of people were getting visa. But the person sitting at counter seems to be strict and he was taking 4-5 mins for each candidate. I was 5 in row. so my came turn finally
Me: hi!! how r u
vo: No response
I passed on folder to him
vo: which company you are working
me: answered
vo: for how long you are working for this company?
me: I said 2+ yrs
vo: do you have any another visa?
me: I said B1
vo: which company filed your b1
me: my present company name

Don't tense if you have below document
Dear Friend's
This is just formality but they want you are capable or not, and one thing is sure you must have IT returns of the company,w2 report and project detail wheather it is internal or client ,if you have these then no one can reject because they people are very helpful.best of luck!i got visa and i observe that all are in tense so i think to explain all of you who are in queqe best luck again
