My visa Dropbox appt on 24th Dec’19.

I haven’t got any status updated for my case. Working for the same company for 6 years. Got I797 approved until 2022. Visa was valid until Nov,2019. 2nd time using Dropbox option.
This time it seems process is little bit slow. My return flight is Jan 11. Any chances of delays further?

h1b extension 221 g white form Admin processing Hyderabad

Attended interview on Dec 19 at Hyderabad India location . VO asked some basic questions about (employer, client , location, salary) he took my passport and given 221 g white slip. White slip describes "my application requires additional administrative processing" . Its been 10 days still my status showing as administrative processing. I have return flight on Jan 17, Please advice me on my case.

Got 221g for fresh H1B
I went for stamping for my fresh h1b. consular asked basic questions and given 221g and marked on 221g to submit below documents:
1. Complete I 797, I129 petition, LCA and cover letter submitted to DHS with the petition application.
2. I-539 Approved Extension/change of Nonimmigrant status covering the following period:
3. Letter from END CLIENT, Itineary of services, and contract.
and returned my password. I am not aware about I-539 as this is my first H1B.
Anyone on the same boat and any has any information related to it will be really helpful.

Interview went fine, however they made me wait for a while (20 minutes) for scanning my passport before the interview. Most other applicants didn't have to wait at all.
Case is still stuck on administrative processing as of 31 Dec.
Tomorrow is a holiday so I'm sure I won't get an update by then too.
Pretty worried since I have travel plans on Jan 5, I didn't expect it to take longer than 7 days.
Anyone else facing such a delay?

I'm sharing my experience here, as this site really helpful for me to prepare for the interview:
29th Dec 2019 - Biometeric
30th Dec 2019 - Visa Interview

Our time slot was at 4:00 PM. But we were allowed inside at 3:30 PM itself. There will be security team who will be guiding from the entrance till the token generation room.
PFB list of documents they asked:
1) Appointment confirmation sheet
2) DS-160 confirmation page
3) Passport
Note: Please do not carry mobile phones, laptops, bags
Ones all documents are verified, There will be a security check. Ones done they will stick bar code to the back of your passport, then provide you a token number and guide you to stand in queue.
Token number will be displayed in a T.V screen over there and there will be people to guide to the counter.
Ones went to counter, they will ask for Passport, DS-160 and Appointment confirmation page.
Ones verified, they will take fingerprints of your both hands and photo and put a seal on your DS-160 confirmation page.
This entire process will be completed in 15-20 mins.
30 Dec 2019: Visa Interview
Our slot was 11:15 AM, due to some technical problem in the US Consulate it was delayed by 1 hour. We got in only by 12:30 PM.
Again there will be big queue and they will again take fingerprints of your hands and direct us to go inside the interview room.
For interview also, there will be big queue but it will move fast and there will be people over there to guide to the counter.
PFB questions were asked during the Interview:
Is it your fresh H1-B
Which location you will be working employer/Client
Which state are you travelling ?
Asked i797 form
Asked for client invite letter, but i didn't had, so told i've only MSA/SOW agreement from the client. VO went inside and had discussion and later agreed with MSA/SOW
Salary per year
For my wife(H4 visa), No Questions were asked
At Last, we heard those golden words "Your Visa is Approved" and it will be ready for pickup in 3-5 days and you will get notified and VO gave us green sheet which contains details of Visa approval and passport collection information and gave us Know your rights pamphlet. Thank you and have a Safe Flight!!!

Passport
My status turned from administrative processing to issued yesterday on CEAC website. However I haven't received any email. And passport status on ustraveldocs says no status update on passport available. My interview was in Chennai and I live in Bangalore (have to physically collect passport from a location in Bangalore)
Will I receive an email when my passport is ready? Or will I have to rely on ustraveldocs to update the status?
I was on AP for 42 days.

Dropbox : Mumbai : H1B Approved and H4 Delayed
Hi all,
I had dropbox appointment for me and my wife in Mumbai Location. I am on H1B and my wife on H4.
On 19th we submitted all our documents.
20th Dec : Case Created
I got email asking to collect passport for me on 26th.
H1B Status : Issued on 26th.Case Last Updated : 26th December.
H4 Status : Application Received. Case Last Updated : 26th December.
I collected my passport and valid visa is stamped until 2022.
But my wife's case still mentions Application Received.

Has anyone faced this delay before ? Where H1B is stamped but H4 is delayed ?
My wife was always on H4 and never moved to any different status. This is her 3rd stamping and last one was done through dropbox as well in 2017.
In current application, as she is studying on H4 , she is in different city , thus address on DS160 was mentioned different than mine (primary applicant). Can that be an issue ?
Or Do we need to wait for 4-5 business days from 26th December to get any update ?

H1-B visa renewal Administrative processing since 2 months
I had a drop-off and then received 221(g) which I attended on 29th October at Mumbai and still waiting for my passport since then ("Administrative processing").
