Interview - 10th of December
Since then admin processing
Date updated - 17th December but still admin processing.
Today - same status no update
Anyone in the same boat? Any idea when will it be update to issued ?

Attended interview on 12/17/2019
VO asked below questions
Is this your first h1b interview?
You work at client location right ?
Who is your client?
What is your designation ?
What is your client business?
What is your highest level of degree?
What is your opt Start Date?
When did your h1b Start?
Do you have any gaps because of subject failures or out of status ?
Give me your last one year pay stubs, lca and w2 forms.
Do you have multiple petitioners as your w2 shows multiple employers?
Gave all the above documents back and kept passport with her.
Finally said “everything looks good, we need to do some admistrative processing. We got everything we need. Nothing needed from your side. We will inform you via email”
Gave me 221g White slip with tracking number.
On the next day 12/18/2019 got a call asking for the LCA and client letter
On 12/19/2019 got a mail saying that the passport is ready for pick up, but the tracking number says that my case was still in Admin processing . Should I expect any slip in the passport? I will only be able to pick up my passport on Monday . Please let me know if anyone faced similar situation. Thanks in advance

My i797 got expired on July 27, 2019
I did my H1b transfer on August 12, 2019 (after my visa expiry).
My petition was approved, but I got consular processing.
Dec 10, 2019 - Dropbox at chennai consulate
Dec 16 - Got blue slip to bring client letter and i129 and appear for interview.
Dec 19 - went for interview and showed all requested documents including client letter.
VO asked basic questions and also asked me to explain why i filed for H1b after my previous visa expiry. I answered.
She took back client letter and wrote something on it. Returned my passport and gave blue slip and said its under administrative processing and i will be notified once this administrative procesing is over.
I have my petition approved only till Feb 26, 2020.
Any idea how long this will take ?

Possible 221(g) white slip - SEVIS check - 4th H1B renewal ?
I graduated in 2008 (Master's) and then worked on OPT for 29 months and switched to H1b in 2010. I renewed in 2013, 2016, 2019 (green card pending) . Working with the same well known employer (FTE since 2010). Stamped visa in 2010 (F1-H1b cos) and 2013 (drop box), did not get visa stamped in 2016.
I know that a lot of first time H1b stamping applicants receive 221(g) white slip to check SEVIS status and that delays the application for 3 - 4 days, this is very common these days.
I was wondering if someone in a similar position (4th time H1b) as I am received 221(g) white slip (SEVIS)? What are my chances of me getting 221(g) white slip ?
I have specific travel plans and hope to receive my passport back in 4 days.

At the end of my visa interview the VO said congratulations your visa is approved and kept my passport.
The VO didn't handed me any 221g slips nor asked for any additional documents.
At the time of interview the VO just asked about the company, job role and salary.
I'm regularly checking my visa status and its still in administrative processing.
Did anyone had a similar experience?

Background: MS in computer science from USA, On H1B since 2013 with same employer, 2nd time H1B stamping, EVC model.
Me: Good Morning Officer.

Thought my experience may be helpful.
I was working for big product company in India. Went to their HQ in USA on L-1B visa. No clients involved. Worked at employer’s premises.
Switched job within same company and hence Job description and designation changed a lot. Company didn’t agree to keep them same though requested for visa.
Appeared for Interview at Hyderabad Consulate. As expected, visa officer asked about new job description, old work location and new work location and stressed on job description. Since my old and new work locations were same, heard the golden words.
Product Company, Work location same as employer’s and previous L-1B history made some impact.
