want to share my experience, which I went to through process from F1 to H1B.
Finger prints on : 17th Dec 2019
Interview Date : 19th Dec 2019
Issued small 221G refusal slip, which they told there is small administrative process should go before issuing H1B, normal questions like which company and client stuff assked, I am working in VMC model. Didnt ask any documents and retained my passport.

Case Update on 31st Dec -- Issued
Most of the cases from f1 to h1 issuing small 221g slip and issuing h1b in 7 days to 10 days for sure. But if there are holidays like dec 25th and jan1st, it might take 2 more days.

H1/H4 stamping Mumbai
Hi All,
Me and my husband went for stamping in Mumbai consulate and all went welp until the officer said this is how
it will work, for my husband he said his passport will be ready in 3-4 days while.for me he said it will take a week or more and he also said dont get alarmed or stressed over it. Thank you.
What does that mean? im on H4 and moved from h1 to H4 and he asked if i studied in US and when was my first h1 issued. Thats it.
When i track my passport it says, Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate. Not sure what does tis mean? Please help if anyone on h4 is taking.time for passport delivery?

Visa interview without Client letter
Hi,
I worked in USA from Mar 2017 to May 2019. In May 2019, My H1B Extension was denied and I came back to India. Now, with the help of a new employer, I got H1B approval till June 2019 and I scheduled my Visa appointment on Jan 9th in Chennai. Mine is EVC model and the Client is not ready to provide Client letter as I have not joined the project yet. May I know if Client letter is mandatory these days while attending Visa interview? How do I convince the VO if they ask for Client letter? Please advice.

26th Dec - AP on CEAC website, email response - "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted."
27th Dec - Issued on CEAC website, , email response - "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted."
30th Dec - Pickup

Hello everyone,
I came to India for my f1 to h1 visa stamping.
Interview was done on 12 Dec 2019 and the VO said that the visa is approved and did not give any slips etc.
Case created date is same as OFC date: 11 Dec
Last Update date is the same as the interview date: 12Dec and the case is still under administrative processing.
Its been 12 working days and still there is no update. I had my travel planned on 30 Dec.
I had to reschedule my flight. I am worried. P{lease suggest

I haven’t got any status updated for my case. Working for the same company for 6 years. Got I797 approved until 2022. Visa was valid until Nov,2019. 2nd time using Dropbox option.
This time it seems process is little bit slow. My return flight is Jan 11. Any chances of delays further?

h1b extension 221 g white form Admin processing Hyderabad
Interview :-- Dec 19
Attended interview on Dec 19 at Hyderabad India location . VO asked some basic questions about (employer, client , location, salary) he took my passport and given 221 g white slip. White slip describes "my application requires additional administrative processing" . Its been 10 days still my status showing as administrative processing. I have return flight on Jan 17, Please advice me on my case.
