Hi All
I attended my H1 Visa interview on 4th Sept morning.
I went to VFS Lounge which is good for non-Chennai people, you can but your baggage with mobile and have snacks, wait till your interview time is there and then shuttle service to and fro to consulate is provided.
Here is my experience
VO: How are you doing
me: im fine
VO: What is your degree
me: bachelor of engineering in electronics
VO: What is your position at ZZZ
me: Programmer Analyst
VO: What is your experience as programmer
me: 7 years
VO: Will you be working with client projects or inhouse project
me: I will be working with YYYY for their customers
VO: Do you know the name of the Client
me: I'll get to know when I go there
VO: You are currently working with YYYYY?
me: Yeah
VO: pulled out sheet for 221g, ticked everything and said you need to submit the documents in dropbox. Please make sure the documents are complete. Thank you have a nice day.
Let's see what my Desi consultant can do now.
I would advice the people to try circumlocution on the client's query like "I can work with any of the YYYY clients and my project deals with Blah Blah Blah" and try your luck and again this is my personal suggestion and not guaranteed to succeed. I wish all the best to all of those who are going for stamping. Some basic tips have a smiling face and answer confidently, don't get nervous on anything and give your best shot.
All this 221g cases are very frustrating as some you will be already knowing, I would suggest for your freinds who have not got the lottery etc to try for MS(F1 visa - u need to go back to college) but H1 will be smooth I think, than the Desi consultant path which is taking almost the same time to complete your degree.

regarding H4 visa renwal
Hi friends
Am soumya,am on H4 visa,my husband is on H1B work permit and still his visa validity is there for 2years.
right now am in USA,and my old visa is going to expire in a month time.
I applied for visa renewal(applied for I539) in the month of may,2008.
please can anybody tell me how long it will take to get my renwed visa.
If it takes too long time to get my visa,and what are the other options for getting my visa immediately,really am so tensed about my visa.

I got selected for 2009 H1b and approval sent also.
I have one doubt here.
Actually i applied for B1 from Xcompany-india and i have not stamped for it. and in the mean while Xcompany-inidia (USA branch) applied for h1b and got approval sent.
But i am working in Y company and put the same experience in my letters.
so, does it really affect in my Visa stamping. i am so worried . can any one clarify my doubt.

Vo: What are the languages that were teached in Engg?
Me: c,c++,pascal,cobol,java,Oracle etc
Vo: How many yrs of experience you have?
Me: total 4 in IT
Vo: Who is your employeer?
Me:Answered.
Vo: "your Visa is approved" and passport will e shipped in 7 working days.
Me: Thank you
I had gone through this site the day efore i interviewed.This helps alot..gives you more confidence as well. I would stringly recommend all to go through this web. Go with all the documents and prepare well. Though you dont have any docs...answer it in confident way and try to impress him/her. I was not asked any documents at all.
Please post me if you have any queries i will reply it if i can answer.

Can anybody suggest me?The thing is that i attended for stamping for H1B visa on January 11th 2007 and i was given 221(g).i have submitted the asked docs through drop box on 29ht jan 2007 and i received a letter(white-221g) from consulate that my case is sent to USCIS along with my I129 and it is informed that my case will no longer be taken up at chennai.Now again h1 is applied some other company for this fiscal year 2008-09 and i have received my h1b papers.now tell me while taking up online appointment for stamping now,shall i put "yes" for the point" is your visa is refused twice in a last 12 months" or "no", being a fresh filing.please clarify.
