Pls help about this letter
Hi

I had attend the interview for first time in november 2007 and i got lot of 221g(s) and finally in first week of april i got the letter that my visa has been suspended and they have returned my case to USCIS. They have taken all the documents.

After a long wait of five months i got another mail from USCIS about the update of case:

Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

Current Status: This case has been received from the State Department with a request we review it.

On August 15, 2008, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

So please people help me what this mail describes. Wether i should put any hope on the visa and how much time it will takes.

Thanks

Refusal 221(g)
Hi All,

My visa was refused under section 221(g). I’ve got the courier from VFS, passport along with 221(g) white form with the following notes
**** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **
Based on the documents you have submitted to us, and the information elicited in your interview with an America Consular officer, we are not able to issue you an H1B temporary work visa, because:
Your petitioner does not appear to be either able or willing to provide qualifying employment in the United States in accordance with appropriate laws and regulations.
In accordance with US law and department of state guidelines, action on your has been suspended, and the I-129 petition for a non-immigrant worker filed on your behalf will be return to the USCIS with a memorandum explaining the facts of your case as presented to us at the time of interview. The US consulate in Chennai is no longer handling your case, and will be unable to give you any information on the status of your petition.
For your information, your visa was refused under section 221(g) of the INA. Essentially, this section states that a visa cannot be issued to anyone whose application does not appear to the consular officer to meet the requirements of the INA or of the regulation there under.
**** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **
Is there any chance to get it through it? I spoke to my employer; he says that we sent fax to USCIS and waiting for their response. Our attorney suggested that we cannot do anything more than sending request to USCIS.

Hi Every one,
Iam in a typical situation. I have attended the US Consulate in Saudi, this year march. That time I have been issued 221(g). Then I came india as my visa expired there in Saudi. Now I got email from US consulate asking me to send the passport for visa stamping. But when I went to courier agency, they said they can't send Passport to other countries.

Need inputs and its urgent
Friends,

My Employer is a public listed company.I have interview on 18th August in Chennai.
When I asked about Tax And Revenue documents they said that its a public listed company and it wont be a problem to u at the time of interview and if its really needed then they will send it to the consulate directly since its a confedential document

Second thing is that when i asked about the employee wage document they said the same thing like its a public listed company and consulate people wont ask about it

Guys i need a help regarding these two things

Is it safe to go to the emabassy without these two documents or i am taking a chance?
OR Shall I call to consulate and confirm them to send the documents regarding tax and revenue?
If yes then shall i wait until my emplyer send those documents to the emabassy then i shall go?

Please guide me in this regard

H4 Interview
Hello All,

I got married in the month of April but It took a while before I could apply for H4 as I applied for passport only after marriage so that I could get my husband's last name endorsed in my passport and I think I did it worth it so that I dont have to carry my marriage certificate where ever I go.Well I applied for my passport in the first week of may thinking i could get it done in tatkal scheme but i didnt know the fact that it is not possible to apply for passport under tatkal scheme directly as police verification was necessary and only then i can convert it to tatkal scheme from normal proceedure.
So guys if u r looking for applying for passport under tatkal scheme after marriage be prepared to wait until the police verification is done, its only then u can convert it to tatkal from normal process by paying extra fee.
Well finally I got my passport in the first week of June and I applied for Visa online.
Well then started the nightmares after applying for Visa ,but never the less the interview went really coolllll...
But make sure U r all prepared with all the sample questions that are there on the websites. It helps a lot and I mean it.keep praticising every now and then if possible memorise them...
Arrange all the papers (Docs) in seperate files, categorise them into 2 or 3 folders say Impt Docs and Supporting Docs, so that its handy during the interview.U dnt hav to waste ur time or the interviewer's time and also it creates a good impression about you during the interview..
Coming to dressing style well do not be too concerned about it.Just make sure you are dressed formally u need be overdressed with a lot of jewellery or grand saree.
And do not try to interact with people around you when you are waiting for your turn in the embassy, they can see you..so avoid interacting with people.Just stay calm and composed.Infact you can get an idea about the interview process as you can hear the conversation...
Well it started lik this
Hello Madam
Hello,good Morning
How are you doing today?
Im fine ,thank you.How about you?
Im fine.. thank you..
So May I have your Blue Folder?
Yeah Sure..You can..
When did you get married?
April 23rd 2008
Oh thats nice..congraz..
May I have ur Marriage Cerificate?
Yes U can..
May I see ur Marriage album?
Do u wan the album? or just the snpas?
Oh snaps should be fine..
OK..
He typed something on the system and said here u go..ur Visa is approved and wil be couriered it to you
I said thank you so much and left from there.
So guys its the matter of luck as to how many questions wil be asked and it goes like. But be prepared from ur end..Dont take any chances.
Just smile when you talk. Its speaks a lot.
Dont show that ur nervous it encourages them to drill u more..
Even if ur visa is denied do not get wild, just say ok leave the place camly.
So for all guys who are applying for H4 all the best and enjoy the interview process..its fun..

Verify about the companies in US before you come here.
Hi All,
I would like to tell you the same, Please get a confirmation from your employer or kinda commitment that they will not put you on bench. Also verify all information about your prospective company,
My experience"Got an offer from K-Soft inc company which is based in Jacksonville florida. (Owner name is Ramesh Gangiseti (don't know if i have typed the spelling correct)) he is a big fraud, cheater. When i was in India he told me that he has a project for me and will give me $ YYYY X per annum, but once i landed in US, I went to my aunt place and called him from there, right away he said that the position is not there and i have change my employer. Since i was new and don't even have Sal slips it was hard for me to change my employer. but somehow i managed it and transfered my H1B, worked really hard and seen lot of phases of life.....finally got a project after 6 months and since then am working here in US....almost 3 years."

above experience might look like easy but it is not because here in US if you don't have job, it's really hard to survive, might have to sleep empty stomach. I don't want to depress or stop anyone who is coming to US but the mistake which i have done, don't want anyone to be in that situtation.

couple months ago i called that Ramesh(I say Mr. Cheater) and the moment i ask his "is it ramesh" ? then he was like "no you got the wrong number", and i said i can recognise your voice and asked him for the clerification. he just hung up the call. Well i know i can't do anything against him but still waiting one day will come and i will be in front of him and wanted to scold him so badly. This is the best thing in US " Free to speak".

Well don't want to take too much of your's time. Just few more words.
"Make sure about the stability of your company and also about you"
"get an idea from your frieds who are already here, about the company"

oh well ya...I am doing ok...and my new employer is good too...but can't say untill. another best thing is i got GC sponsership and have GC now. So doing very well.

Guys don’t come through Corpus Inc to U.S. This is a desi company and they are big cheaters in U.S. So my advice, even though you got H1 never ever come through this company. First they will tell some thing and once you arrive they will do some thing. Still you want to come, take all the promises by written or email then come here. Not only this company so many desi companys are doing the same.
