Hi All,
I have attended the interview for H1B in Chennai in October 2007 and they have given 221(g) blue for Project Documents. I have submitted the documents in Dec 2007 along with the passport.
After 3 months I had received all my docs back (March 2008)along with the same 221g blue form - highlighting the "state unemployement wages."
They have asked me to drop all documents again anyway through dropbox without passport ..also written that this is "final request" to submit all documents. I had contacted my employer and he has sent all those documents.
I have submitted those documents in the month of April 2008. Since then I have not got any reply.
Shall I contact VFS or Consulate about the status? Could you pl let me know the contact mailID?

prasant, my name is pratik i would like to share my experience with u and pls let me know how much chance to ge the visa.
1)interview in mumbai 15july2008 got a white 221(g)form
i did my diploma in computerscience in P.E.S ploytechnic and then i did my advance diploma in london so when i face the interview VO:OFFICER,,, ME: MYSELF
vo(ledy):u show me the fake documents
me: no man this is a all genuan documents ,this is a my evelution documents from the usa
vo:what is the evelution

vo:take some time and call the 2 and 3 people and show something in the computer and told me u go to the window no 15.
me: ok thanks(i went to the window no 15 there is a one person and that ledy setting on the counter)
NOW THAT PERSON IS TAKING MY INTERVIEW
vo: this london degree certificate is fake do u know what is the meaning to show t me the fake dergree certificate.
me: sorry sir ,but this is all the my original degree certificate and i got proff ,i saw him to some london goverment proof of the my college and he quit
he is looking something in the monitor then again
vo:this yr banglore degree certificate is fake
me: i saw him my india goverment letter and all my original recommadation letter i got from the college and then he quit
vo:u have any other proff to show me this is original and reputed college
me: i saw all the college certificate and all the goverment letter

Original IT Returns
Hi Friends,
I am reading each and every query and response you draft in this forum and it helps a lot. I got H1 approval and preparing my documents for interview.
I am having one query:
Last year I have filed my IT Returns and I have submitted my original Form-16 of year 05-06.
I am having a xerox copy of last year Form-16, but it is advisable to have a xerox copy of Form-16 in our documents or I have to ask my company to produce me a New Original Copy for Form-16 for Last year.
Please advice !!!!

I had attend the interview for first time on 16th Dec, 2007 (H1B visa) in chennai. After that i got the 221(g) blue forms for around three times to submit the various types of documents from my employeer. Every time i have submitted the documents which i got from employeer. In first week of april i got the letter that "your case has been suspended under 221(g) and the chennai consulate is no longer handling your case.
They have taken all my documents like I797, LCA, I129, project description, wage reports, tax returns.
I want to clarify that, my case is suspended or they had send to USCIS for adminstration processing. If my case is really suspended then what would be the reason for taking the all documents of my employeer.
Please give the suggestions who has gone through this type of experience.

Lost Experiance Certificate(Only one)
Hi Every one,
I got my H1 approve and now waiting for my papers to come back and then interview, but i am in a difficult situation with interview. Let me try to explain
I have lost my B.Sc degree certificate and all letters from my last to last company(about 3 Years old). Now with the interview ahead am very norvous. However i have given an appliaction in university
and will get that degree certificate in next one month but not sure what to do with my certificate of that company, i talked in that company but they are not willing to issue me duplicate certificates(Becuase its going to be about three years).
One of my friend who run his own comapny has offered me to issue all those certificate from his company but i m not will to do this.
I will be thank full if someone can sugguest what to do in this situation. Does all these information are entered in the pettition papers?
Also wants to add that i have all other certificates, Educational and professional.

i applied for the h1b visa in the 2008.i got a interview date on the 15th july 2008 i face the my interview and on that time the consulate told me yr degree certificate is fake i saw him the goverment proof and then he quit and again he told me yr london college degree certificate is fake and i defence him and told him this is not a fake this is my college london goverment documents and finally there is a 3 person on the window and all people are torcharing me all documents r fake but i defence and proove my self this all r right and he took my interview around 1 hr in the special window and finally he gave me a one white form and told me u take the all the document from the comapany and submit any days and told me if any document is fake in that u dont know what i will do with u ,i say ok sir thanks and i leave the window and then i again apper to submit my comapany document on 23july 2008 and then the same person is calling me and i went to the same window and took my all the comapny documents and gave me the YELLOW FORM and told me we will contect u then u have to submit yr passport and this yellow form and the envelop in the nearest VFScenter ,the administater is processing now pls let me know how long its take a time for that any one has idea pls let me mail pls i will be thankful to that guy.

H1B Transfer
It is more than a month since I landed in the USA on H1 visa as Software consultant. I have not yet been staffed into any project and my employer will not pay me unless I get staffed. In the mean time, I have received an offer from a different company that will sponsor H1 but will not take me as a consultant. I am hearing that to transfer H1 to this company, I

I am jeev,i have not shown for the interview in the month of june in mumbai consulate and i have taken new hdfc receipt with out activateing the old one.now with new hdfc recipt i cancelled my appointment once on 30th june and booked my appointment on july 15th but i havent droped my papers at vfs so my appointment was cancelled under no shown applicant.
My problem is i want to know wether the details of my previous cancelled DS-156 and DS-157 details will be present at the u.s consular office bcoz i havent filled all the details as in hurry of blocking the appointment i have entered only mandatory feilds and have entered as "xxxxxx" and "yyyyyy" in all feilds includeing experience part .
I plz requet you to help me out in this regard as i want to fill all the details exactly now in new ds-156 & DS-157.will this effect for me dureing visa interview
