Issuance of 221(G), help needed
Hi Everybody,
on 30th I have attended the interview at Kolkata Councilate. The VO checked all the documents, asked around 5-6 questions. She was okay with everything ... except for the company photos. Actually my employer in US has sent the company photos, where only the photos of the building and desks are there ... but no employee is shown. he might have taken the photo either in the morning or at night. So the VO issued me a 221(G) and asked me to get the explanation from the employer why no body is seen working in the photos. And she told me to go to the councilate any working day from 2:00 to 4:00. She returned all my documents & passprt but kept form DS-156 & 157. Now I am really tensed what will happen. I have asked my employer to send me the docs as soon as possible. Do any one of you have any experiace regarding that. Is there any chance of getting the visa. Please reply ...

hi guys,
i attended interview at chennai consulate,they asked me abt tax docs,project details and issued a 221(G).then i submitted the papers,again they issued me a 221(G)for more clarifications on papers.again i submitted my papers in last week,here my dought is did they send the passport back or they will keep untill the process completes.............
ple help me in this case.

Regarding H1 b Stamping
Hi everybody,
From last 2 to 3 weeks Iam going through this website regarding H1 b visa,very few of them got H1 b succesfull visa,lot of them has got 228(g) form,
can anybody send the experiences which has got succesful h1 b stamping in chennai consulate

Dont attend Interview early you will get 221(g).
Hello friends, Iam rajiv from hyd. Its very bad news for me and want to share my experience with you all.
I attended my H1B interview on july 25th at chennai.when I entered consulate, visa officer had interviewed me for 45 minutes and he was not at all interested in taking passport,he asked me about subject and all sorts of questions . To tell you frankly VO dont know about our project or job details..onething he know is to give 221(g) form. he had taken a slip and told me to right my job description..he dint find anything wrong wid me even in documents but he issued me a form 221(g).so I suggest not to attend interview early better attend in the month of september.Any queries please post me...my mail:[email protected]

If u have already B1 stamping on ur passport and attend for H1,...if u get H1 then ur B1 will get cancelled. If u wont get H1 then ur B1 will remain like that and u can travel on ur B1.

Thanks for your valueble suggestions to the readers of this site.I have a small doubt would appriciate if you could throw some light on this.If we already have B1 visa for 10 years and now wanted to apply for H1, will the B1 gets cancelled once we attend H1 visa interview irrespective of geting H1 visa or not?Or will the B1 gets cancelled only upon approval/issuence of H1 visa.
