How can we modify date of arrival in DS156/157 after 221(g)
I am planning to go to chennai consulate 2nd time in July after I received 221(g) from chennai in March end.
VFS doesn't allow you to modify the DS 156/157 forms. can I take the same forms and correct the dates/contact nos. by hand and take or do I require to fill the online form from https://evisaforms.state.gov/ again for my appointment.
Any 221(g) candidates can you please confirm the same with ur experience.

Hi All,
I went second time for interview after i received 221g first time.They asked me to get another letter from my employer and asked me to drop in a dropbox in Bangalore.Can any one who had this experience say how much time will they take for this type of process?Will they make it fast?

Seems a lot of posts with negative experiences. But let me tell mine, I added it on may 5th. The VO s are there for granting visa, but you must be genuine and with enough credentials. The important thing is to have genuine docs. Then getting visa is not an impossible one, So new comers dont be upset , i think most of them who are getting visa is not posting their experience. I have attended for h1b at chennai in may,the VO was
a lady,i think she is rejecting max cases,she took my interview for 3 min it went well and asked for project desc and checked some thing in the system and given me blue form with following documents
1)the list of the cand who went to the employer from chennai consulate and where abouts of the candidates
2)Letter from project manager stating my skills and how i am fit for the job
3)project technical desc
4)w2s of all the employees,
But the problem is that my employer is having 120
employees,i dont think he will send the w2s,please
mail me if any one got same query like me,
and more question is did i have to go to the same VO like the first time coz i heard she is very strict and rejecting 90% H1s,
PLEASE HELP ME BY SHARING UR EXPERIENCE

about B1 visa
Hi,
I applied for h1B and i got 221(g) on Dec 2005. Now my indian company is ready to send me on B1 Visa. Here my question is
will the consulate cancel my H1B and issue B1Visa or just they issue B1 separate.
Please any one help me on this.

Change in client

This is Priya. My exp in the embassy. I got query three times. First time I was asked for project description, itenary, client photos etc. I have submitted all of them. Second time a lady issued 221g for a client letter. Third time I took agreements etc between end client and my company instead client letter since my employer was not able to provide the client letter.
But third time also the VO was specific for the client letter. Since my employer was not able to provide it now he is planning to change the client and provide a client letter. Can you let me know if any one faced this kinda situtation and got stamped. What could be the chances of getting the visa. Please share me your experinecs and please guide me how to face the visa interview.

i got 221g like u have to bring client letter.
