I went to US Embassy few days back and got 221g .I think i have to again prepare DS-156 and DS-157 forms. please guide me which website and how to prepare those agian.can i modify the existing ones in vfs-usa.co.in ?

SUCCESSFUL H1B FROM UAE

Firslty a BIG THANK YOU to this site for helping me pass this interview.
I applied for my interview from dubai as I am a resident here.
The interview went like this :
VO:Can I see all the docs that you are carrying.I was having all the docs neatly sorted with tags in a proper clear file.
Myself: No probs mam, here you go
VO: Please have a seat will call you back in some time.
Myself: oK.no probs
Waited for almost 20 mins
VO: Can you please come to counter 5
Myself: yes mam
VO: I have seen all your docs now i will have someone take your technical interview.
Some indian guy came over and asked a few questions on access..some syntax
I confidently wrote them on a piece of paper and he told the VO he is fine.
VO: Some more questions
Myself : OK
VO: How did you get this job? what is ur co doing ? how many yrs have been in dubai ?
why you want to go to US?
I answered all peacefully and confidently and she finally said I am giving you the visa!
Just be confident and have faith in GOD !

lost my 221 g
My name is xxxxxxxxxx i have attended my interview on 27th December 2005 at 8:00 AM i was issued 221(g). I started back to Hyderabad on the same day but in the train somebody stolen my bag which contains valuables and 221(g) issued by you.
I was a 7th or 8th person to attend the interview in the counter number 5.
I have mailed to Chennai consulate also they but they did not give any information plz help me out if u have a solution for it

successful H1B after 221(g) - Chennai Consulate
having benifited from this site immensely, I feel its time for me to contribute by sharing u all my experience.. I first appeared for h1 interview on october 14, I was issued a 221(g), which required 5 points to be satisfied viz.,
1) photos (15) of petitioners work premises.
2) photos (15) of petitioning employers work premises.
3) how many more h/l benificiers my employer intends to petition for next 12 months.
4) w2 forms of people who joined in 2004
5) state how h/l worker will be employed in next 12 months? specify location, client & client contact info, nature of project
For the Second time I went on 27th November with the w2forms, photos & a letter to consulate with the details of a homegrown project that explained the xxxxx project that I wud be working on stating that i wud be solely be under the supervision of my employer only & projects will be executed only at the employers office consistent with the LCA barring minor shortterm client assignments.
I reached consulate @ 10 in the morning went directly to the security gaurd showed him the blue form & he allowed me inside without asking me to stand in line. After that I was asked to show the 2300 dd in the first counter & get a pink token. There was a huge rush that day & After that I was asked to go to an extension counter for getting I797,LCA etc., filed, in the main building, where interviews are done(This would normally happen in the counters next to the counter which issues pink token). They took the LCA, I797,i-129 etc., filed it & gave me back the token with the file. An employee of the consulate walked near to me & took the 1st portion of the pink token & asked me to have a seat.
After waiting for almost an hr, I was called for an interview. The VO was really cool & has already issued visa to two of applicants in front of me. Here's the transcript of what transpired..
Me: Good Morning Sir with a smile & gave him the file.
VO: Morning! show me your degree certificates.
Me: gave him the certificates.
VO: are you coming for the second time?
Me: Yes sir.
VO: give me the documents that were asked last time around.
Me: passed on all the documents one by one.
VO: he was reading thru the documents carefully taking a lot of time & at the same time was also checking something in his computer.
VO: Are you married Sir!
Me: No Sir, I'm single.
VO: Tore the remaining part of the pink token into two & gave me one piece.
VO: Please collect your documents, walk straight to counter #1 & pay your fees. have a nice trip sir, your passport will be couriered thru TTS.
Me: Thank you Sir & i left to counter #1 to pay the fees.
So, to all the people who got 221 don't lose heart! its only going to delay you in getting visa. Make sure u get the right documents & you will definetely get the visa. Most of all Believe In God!!! & Be Positive.

A signed Letter from the beneficiary’s prospective supervisor at the end client location to which he will be assigned, stating the clients
Information to make use of the beneficiary’s services and explaining the nature and duration of the project to which he will be assigned.

2. A detailed and Specific Description of the project to which the beneficiary’s will be assigned .Include a complete technical description of the IGOUGO project , time line , current status, number of employees assigned to it, location of the work site and marketing analysis for the final product.
3. A complete itinerary of the services or engagements specifying the dates of each service or engagement the names and addresses of agent,

Interview Rescheduled to Feb
Hi All,
This site is really of immense help to all the H1B aspirants. Thanks a ton to all the participants and specially the Admins of this site.
Well regarding the rescheduling mine was scheduled to the 3rd week of Jan and to confirm my appointment i called up the VFS Help Desk at 044 5231 6767. They told me that mine has been postponed to the third week of Feb. I asked are u sure abt it and They said yes they were sure. Then I asked Whose application is being processed in the month of Jan. They said only Emergency cases are being processed in the month of Jan. I asked them to send an email right away confirming my date of appointment. Theys said they cant do that right now as it will take some time to send the mails. They said by 1st week of Jan i should be getting the mail confrming my appointment Data.
I suggest all of you better follow up with VFS reg the same.... and plz post your experiences.

I have attended the H1B on 22nd DEC at chennai consulate and unfortunately i got 221(g).
Now all 221(g) documents ready with me(which VO ticked).
I was asked to drop the document in the drop box at hyd (OR) come in FEB 2006 to chennai consulate.which is better.can anybody plz tell me which is better.suppose i am going to droop the details in TTS.what percentage of chances do i have getting the visa.
