L1B approved along with L2 for wife
First of all thanks all lot to everyone who is posting exp. On this forum. It really helped me a lot to understand the process and prepare of interview.
Questions asked to me were little different and difficult (more of technical) compared to others.

1. Which company?
2. For how many years are you going
3. Why only you ?
4. What specialized knowledge do you have ?
5. Describe you product ?
6. How is it different compared to product which already exist in market?
7. Does it uses any other software which involves licensing cost?
8. When your product will be launched for any client in US , will they require to pay any licensing cost to your company?
9. What all 3rd party software are assosiated with your product.

Questions to my wife :
1. Your date of marriage?
2. Love or arrange ?
3. How many people attended your marriage?

After typing for about 5 mins he said your visa is approved.

I did not intend to scare you guys . But make sure you prepare throughly and read all your documents like i129s and i797 properly.
Face them with confidence and always make eye contact.
Ask someone to take mock test with all the question mentioned in this forum.
And last but not least : Pray as much as possible.

on this site i came across one forum where someone mentioned one mantra which indeed works for visa interview.
I like give special thanks to that person (i dont remember his name)
i am passing on his mantra so that others too can chant it regularly and get benifit out of it.
It indeed worked for me.

Mantra is : om vashatkaraya namaha .

You can google this mantra and its actually for visa interviews :)

L1 Blanket Ottawa, Canada - Approved
All,

Firstly, i should thank this forum for giving me a virtual experience of the Interview. My PAI was on 21st of December 2015, the process & questions were same as it was mentioned in the previous blogs. The visa officer was a guy and he was a middle-aged person. I felt, he wanted me to be nervous while he was checking for the facts(he asked me to brief about my roles and responsibilities twice and pretended as if he was not paying enough attention towards me). He was checking if my answers were consistent, I could really feel the difference between my interview before and after me getting into nervous state, I felt he was checking if my answers were consistent.

Like I said, he asked me a few sets of critical questions twice like, how many report to me, where your team sits, what does your manager do and asked me to explain the roles and responsibilities of my direct reportees. Trust me guys, I could hear my own heart beat when he was asking me those critical questions for the second time.

The best advice from my experience would be confidence, eye contact and most importantly tell him the truth :) nothing new from the previous posts.

All the best,
Raj.

L1A approved - Chennai - 29th Jan 2016
Thanks to immihelp and all the members who have taken time and posted their experiences here.
It has immensely helped me to prepare for my L1A. Got my L1 and dependents L2 approved today. The overall process was fast and we got done in 30 mins.

In a nutshell following is what matters -

1.) Confidence in whatever you say. Firstly we need to be convinced on what we are telling the VO.
2.) Posture and Etiquette's.
3.) First Impression makes a difference - so its pretty imp to answer the first few questions very very confidently without fumbling or thinking.
4.) Look straight into the eyes of the VO.
5.) Mock preparations from the list of questions we see here in this group will help immensely. Do the preps yourself and with someone who can give you good feedback.
6.) We have to be super clear on our Current Role and responsibilities along with the Role we are going to play in US. Also with the difference between them.
7.) Wearing suit doesn't matter - The person just in front of me was in Suit and his L1A got rejected.

My Experience -

Me : gm sir, how are you
VO: gm, im good, how are you
Me: Im good too, thank you
VO: so you work with ZZZ
Me: Yes Sir
VO: how long you are working with ZZZ
Me: XX Years
VO: who is your client
Me: XX
VO: So you will be working in client location?
Me: Yes sir
VO: your current role
Me: Associate Manager
VO: what will be your US sal
Me: YYYY USD per annum
VO: how many years you will be in US
Me: 1 year
VO: who is supervisor in US
Me: ZZZ
VO: who is supervisors supervisor
Me: ZZZ
VO: so you will be travelling as associate manager?
Me: No sir, I will be travelling as YYYY X
VO: what will be your responsibilities/what kind of work you will be doing in US
Me: explained my US Role and responsibilities in crisp
VO: how many direct reports in US?
Me: X
VO: how many indirect reports in US?
Me: X
VO: are they comp programmers?
Me: Yes sir they are individual contributors.
VO: so what is the difference between your onshore role and offshore role.
Me: Explained the difference in my roles and responsibilities between the role I'm going to play in US and the role I'm currently playing now.
VO: Sir - can I talk your wife now?
Me: sure sir
VO: Mam - when did you marry him?
Wife: YYYY date sir
VO: how many kids you have Mam?
Wife: x
VO: how old is your kid?
Wife: X Years
VO: Congratulations, your VISA is approved. Please wait for a min while I complete the documentation.

Good luck to everyone!

L1B Visa Experence on 28Jan 2016
Today (28 Jan 2016) i had L1B interview and it got rejected. i am here to share my experience.

VO : Good Morning ( as if it was her duty to ask). How are you doing.
Me: Good Morning, I am doing great. How are you doing?
VO: I am fine. thanks for asking( as if she is replying out of her duty)
Vo: Company XX
Me: yes
VO: client name
Me : XX
VO: designation in US
me: XX
VO: salary in US
me: XX dollars
VO: what is your expertise and what is your job roles and responsibilities.
Me: completed what i had to say. ( She already started making a face as if she was irritated and waiting for me to stop. i still continued and finished what i wanted to say.)
VO: so you will be identifying the BR, and customize the tool to fit the BR and perform enhancements.
Me: Yes.
VO: I am sorry but your skills are something something.( i stopped listening as soon as she said she is sorry :)). She gave me a blue form.
Me: thank you. smiling. ( no other choice).

There is drinking water and restroom inside the Consulate.

My experience for biometric.
first thing that place is called US Visa application center in google maps.
2. chennai drivers have no idea where they are going. even if you tell them the address they don't know. I tried OLA and Meru and both drivers were useless. Though one driver was good at heart but i did not reach Biometric on time because he did not know.
3. how to find that place - it is on Kodambakkam ( spelling) High Road. landmark it has Samsung service center board( Authorized Samsung Service Center in Blue color) . That is the only board by which u can know that place. The entry is at the back side from that board. I lost my way and searched for that place for 1 hour. On the Kodambakkam high road there is a plaza - a building where there are many shops like nokia, samsung and laptop shops. I asked someone in that plaza and only then i got to know that it was 500 meters from that plaza.
4. Inside the biometeric it took me only 15 mins max.
