Hi All,
VO asked me only 5 questions.
1. What is your designation in current company?
2. How long you have been working for this company?
3. What is your current Salary?
4. What is your client name?
5. What is your special skill?
He gave me blue color form saying L1B blanket requires specialized skills.
I answered all questions confidently but I think they have already decided to reject my application. The experience of 3.5 years in current organization was not good enough though I have total of 8+ years in IT.
I suggest you all if you dont have atleast 5 yrs experience in current organization dont go for L1B.

Hi,
My visa application got rejected with Denied reason as "Not Clearly Approvable".
VO just stamped the reason on I-129S form and didn't give me any blue slip which I have heard to be provided in rejection cases.
Has anyone of you faced this issue before. Please let me know about the same.

Guys its very tough out there.. i have been following this site for over a year and had it as my home page to see the reviews daily.
Note :

Auto walas will strip you down.. They only know 100s and 150s for even a 2 kms ride.
ppl are friendly and helpful. Plan to reach thr a day before to keep your cool and relax.

Ensure proper photograhp and visa fees as per the latest dollar rate. Saw many ppl running and panicking because of it. Photo shd not have shadow even at ur shoulder.they wont accept.
Pre interview formalities are easy
Line to get in.
submit docs and get the bundle to be presented to VO has BEP and petetion
Submit checks

As mentioned, 5 yrs min exp and 6 Lks per yr pkg makes the visa officer interested in you
Thn you can play your game and get it approved.
your documentation shd be as what you speak. In my firm they just copy paste and this makes it easy for VO to reject as all my colleagues wd be having the same skill set :P so foolish, one of the frn got a good bang from VO saying what are u saying doent match with your documents ask your comp to file it properly.
Confidence smartness matters if you qualify the pkg and exp test in of VO.
For all those who have < 5 exp and < 6 pkg.. pls dont apply and get a black stamp on your resume.. btr switch and have a hike. this situation is pretty screwed up and again its us only who are responsible for it.

My L1 A was approved on Apr 30th. Thanks to Immihelp and team for providing me more insights.
Questions for me were:
Which company do you work for
Who is your client
How much is your salary
How many resources do you manage
Suggestion is, Be confident and spontaneous in whatever you say during the interview.
Also while in the line , carefully listen to the questions which are being asked to the person who is getting interviewed before you.

L1B approved @Chennai
Hi All.. Thanks to this forum first....
on 27th I attended the visa interview @ Chennai.
My interview got scheduled @9:30AM. I reached the venue by 8 AM, completed the interview by 9:45 AM, and came out....
On the queue, before me visa got rejected for 2 persons. I was tensed a little.
The interview gone like this....
Me: Hi Madam.. good Morning
VO: Good Morning..
Me: How are you?
VO: I am good. Thank you...How are you?
Me: I am fine Thank you...
VO: How many years you are with company?
Me: 5 Years...
VO: How many years are you with client?
Me: 4 Years
VO: What you do in US?
Me: Explained what work I will be doing(not Roles)
VO: what is your specialization?
Me: What I explained in the before question, I told I am specialized in them.
VO: What is your project strength?
Me: 10 Members offshore + 1 member onsite
VO: Are you going as additional?
Me: Yes
Then she started stamping the documents what I have submitted. I was just tensed, thinking whether it is for approved or not?
Then I got the golden words... your visa got approved and your passport will be ............
I told Thanks Madam. and left the place.
So my assumption is like... first they are checking the experience for the company, client and specialization They are not bothered about grammar and even the Indian pronunciation. Nothing else. And I went with blazer.... so it might added an advantage.

May be the role I perform did not satify the visa officer.
Questions were:
1.Which comp do you work for.
2. Since how long you are working.
3. Why are you going to US
4. What's your role in the project.

L1B - L2 - Granted
A big thanks to the forum. The questions were expected.
As repeatedly stated the Key is confidence. The first 2-3 minutes really swings it either way.
Here goes my details
VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning
VO:What are your responsibilites in US?
Me: Product Design and development, etc etc.
VO: How many years have you been in your current Project
Me: Close to 2 years - 1.9 to be exact
VO: Could you explain your project
Me: Explained in 2 sentences tops.
VO: What were you doing before joining your current company?
Me: Handling Design and Development in the previous org
During all this time, they are typing and looks at you intermittently
To my wife.
VO: When did you get married
Wife: About 10 months back
Then VO said our visas are approved and we will get the passports with in 5 days.
Our VO was an extremely sweet and friendly lady. I could see others getting grilled in nearby counters.
Bottomline
- Confidence and Specialization - You should nail it without any difficulties.(And ofcourse divine intervention as well :) )
Points to Note
- If you are wearing specs and your photos have specs, it would be a good idea to take another set of photos without the specs as well. Else you might have to do this at the embassy and this will needlessly waste an Hour
- Arrive 20-30 mins before your scheduled interview time.

L1-A Visa Approved...
This website is really helpfull for preparing my L1A Visa interview. I was following this site from last couple of months and got idea like what type of question they are asking...
We reached Chennai Office around 8 AM in the morning and saw big line out side the office, entire proess completd in 30 Minutes time... and then we went to 2nd building for interview.
I was in bit Tens but everything is completed and got the Visa.
Interview completed in less than 5 Minutes, All questions to me.. no questions to my wife and kid.
ME: Good Morning and how are you doing?
VO: Good Morning and doing good... Thanks
(Colleted my all documents, started looking at them and arranged as per her requirment)
VO: So where are you going?
ME: for YYYY Customer and gave informations about location.
VO: She confimed you are going this place?
ME: Yes
VO: What's your Project?
ME: I briefley explanied about my project details along with my Roles and Responsibilites.
VO: So you are going on Managerial Role? how much managerial experience you have
ME: Yes, YYYY Years
VO: How many people report to you in India and US related to this project?
ME: XX people in India and YY people in US
After this questions she was busy doing something on her computer and keep on typing something....
After that she started writting on my paper and said your Visa is approved...!!!
That time i was felling really Happy.
