L-1B Blanket @ Mumbai Consulate
My interview was scheduled at 9 am on March 31. My turn came at 11.30 am. The required documents were taken beforehand, so the visa officer had those docs with her. She asked me following questions:
1) Where do you want to go in the US?
2) Why do you want to go there?
3) What does your company do?
4) What domain it works in?
5) How long do you intend to stay in the US?
6) What is your present salary?
7) For how long have you been in this company?
8) Do you have any relatives in the US?

Before she reached the last question, she had started stanmping I129S forms. Then she said you are all set to fly!

L1 A visa
My L1A visa interview was good.

VO: What is the name of your company
Me: xxxx

VO: Since how long are you working with this company
Me: xxxx

VO: Have you ever stayed in the US
Me: (Since I had travelled twice to US earlier on B1 visa for approx 2-3 months each...I was not sure what to respond)-So I requested VO to repeat the question.

VO: Have you stayed in US for short periods
Me: Yes

Thats it.

VO told me that the visa is granted and that it would arrive by post in a few days.

I was delighted.

Here are my questions:

Who is the client?
What will you do in US?
How many team members onsite?
Then VO told that the visa is issued.

Hello to immihelp members,
This site is very useful to collect interview questions asked while at the time of intw. My VISA got rejected first time, i was mentioned in this site also earlier. Now again i went for intw for L1 premium. I heard no questions from VO but he asked me below questions. This time i appeared at Delhi Embassy. The intw was like below

q) Are you xxx company?
A)Yes sir
Q) From how long are you working?
A)Said in months
Q) Are you going to work at client place?
A) Said i will work from my branch office.
Q) What is your specialization?
A) said (dont specify technologies, specify any tool that you are specialized and going to implement on client applications, then this answer very useful to you)
Q)Have you ever been to US?
A) xxx
Q)Asked me about previous denial reason?
A) Said reason y it got denied.

Then he said his golden words that VISA has approved.

Confident dont be tense. It will be fine. Nothing will happen even you dint get also. This is my advice.

All the Best
