Call for passport match up came on 8/17/2015.
My Passport and oci received on Sept 1st 2015.
My spouse's satus is still processing at us embassy SFO.
hope we will get her OCI soon.
To summerise they take more than 60 days so be ready to wait upto 80days.

My Daughter's OCI card
My experience with CKGS New York for my daughter's OCI was very positive. Total it took around 35 days to get the card. I have submitted my application in person and collected from OCI in person. Here goes my timeline

My OCI experience
Hi all,
These are the timelines for our daughter (minor) OCI application. Both me and my wife have our visas expired (we are students ) by the time of application but the Indian government was kind enough to accept our valid I-20 as proof of our legal status.
When CKGS (Washington) received our application, they immediately informed me that both the parents visa documents are missing (I believe they mean not valid anymore). I then spoke with them on phone and have sent our I-20s online which they, and subsequently the embassy people, promptly accepted (I initially sent the I-20s with the actual applications stating that I am sending them in lieu of visas; however they still said that the visas are missing). My experience with CKGS people is very positive. They are quite helpful on phone. Also, they respond to our emails with in 12 hours. My baby along with her grandmother will be traveling tomorrow and we are lucky to get the OCI just on time.
Also, some details on my application:
I paid $310 using USPS money order ($295 for minor application + $15 so that CKGS can dispatch our final OCI card+passport). $15 for Fedex one-day standard shipping (will be delivered next business day in the evening) is kinda a very good offer from CKGS.
I sent the application by USPS, since it's kind of cheap :)
Once, your OCI is granted keep tracking your OCI card. You initially receive an email once its granted. Generally, it takes a day to get your OCI card printed and 1-2 days for your card to be dispatched to USA from Delhi. The Indian site updates quite regularly.

Once I saw that my card has been dispatched, the next day I sent my passport to CKGS without waiting for their email. I sent the passport by Fedex two-day standard shipping for around $18 along with a printout that OCI has been dispatched and a letter briefly stating that the baby has travel within 10 days.
It generally takes 4-6 days before the CKGS people can sort your passport from Delhi.

Hello all,
I have applied for my son's OCI card more than 2 months ago through Houston consulate (via CKGS). It is stuck in "under process" status for 2 months now. All CKGS can tell me average processing time. Processing time for my case has exceeded the average by about 2 weeks. I was told there is no expediting service available. My travel date is approaching fast and was wondering if there is any other avenue of follow-up, perhaps there is another phone number which I can call? My son is 17 months old and we both parents are Indian citizens. To me, it is a very straight forward case.
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated!

I had to travel back to INDIA before the match up started for my son's OCI and I dont see any valid options for me to travel in near future.
I went to FRRO Bangalore , but was not of any help .
