Travel outside the US
Hello, my father tried to issue a passport based on his Naturalization certificate and find out that the naturalization certificate has a mistake, he filed to the USCIS to correct that mistake, unfortunately it takes between 12 to 20 months to be done. Is there any way for him to travel outside the US using his home country passport? Please note that his green card has been taken when he interviewed for naturalization.

Help in the next steps after getting Naturalization Certificate [with name change].
Hello ImmiHelp Community,

I read many posts here, and it helped me navigate the citizenship process thus far. So, thank you!

USCIS has placed me on the line for the Oath Ceremony. I hope I get it soon, and I will follow the process that comes with the notice. However, I have some questions about what I should do next. Also, I asked for a name change, so I wondered if someone can help me share their experience who had a name change.

In which order should I proceed? 1 or 2 below, or does it matter at all.

1. Update the record in the Social Security Office -> DMV -> Apply for Passport
2. Apply for passport -> updated the record in the Social Security Office -> DMV

Additionally, when you apply for OCI, is there something I should be aware of because of the name change?

I appreciate your help. And if there is anything else I should be doing once I receive the Naturalization Certificate, please let me know.

Thank you!

Naturalization N-400 Early filing clarification - Dallas
Hi, I'm completing 5 yrs continuous residence in US by 07/22 with green card. The current N-400 processing time is 15-16.5 months in Dallas. Does that mean, I can apply N-400 application 15 months ahead of 07/22, ie by 04/21?
Also please advise which is fast processing? paper filing or online? Thanks

How to talk to a real agent at USCIS on the phone?
Hi,
I had my interview a couple weeks ago in LA office and officer said I don't have your file here in my office to stamp. She said she should receive my file soon and will mail me the approval. However I didn't receive any mails yet and the online status is only shows the old message which is 'your interview was schaduled' with no uodates. I tried to talk to a USCIS officer on the phone, but the system doesn't allow me to talk to a real person. The only updates that I got from the machine responding is the "my interview was schaduled", which is same as my old online status.
Could you please advise me in how I could reach to a real officer on the phone?
Thanks

N400 interview canceled or descheduled
Hi friends had N400 interview 2 days ago nothing in the letter said that i should come with my wife for i 1751 interview too therefore when the office called my name he asked me where is your wife i told he that my wife is at work
He asked me what do we have together i gave him our tax documents from irs he asked me what is else i showed him our 3 years bank statements that is closed because of COVID-19 financial hardship
He asked if paye bills i said yes ,he if i have another account i said yes he said if we have pay stubs i told him that we get online deposit
He asked me if my mom is permanent resident i told him yes
He asked if i have any other relatives that are us citizens i said no but was nervous i forgot about my brother and my cousin
He went to the other room for 5 mn and when he got back he told me sorry we made mistakes by sending wrong notice we apologize we should deal with your i1751 first before N400 and for that we are going to send you a new appointment later soon so that you can come with your wife.
Today i received a response to my inquiry i sent 5 days before my interview
The email said my i1751 is awaiting to be reviewed by an officer that since N400 also is pending that it is likely that i do the same interview on the same day

Lastly my i1751 is out of normal processing time
