Citizenship Interview - Minneapolis
Hi All,

I would like to share my citizenship experience :

Online Application: Sep-03-2019

Biometrics Interview: On Sep-06-2019 Scheduled Biometrics interview on Sep-27-2019
After the Biometrics MESSAGE got updated online as:

We reviewed your biometrics
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application.

On Jan-03-2020 I got a notice saying Scheduled Citizenship Interview on Feb-11-2020

Interview Experience:

I got my Green Card through my wife and we were together for almost 8years and got a divorce. But i took all supporting documents with me just in case if needed for interview.

Officer asked me to take Oath(I will tell the truth..)

Then Started with the Simple Reading & Written English Test which is easy. Officer told me I passed the test :)
Then moved on to Civic's test, again simple and Office told me I passed the civics test as well.

And then Officer started to go through the filled-in application like do you want to change Name and from there all the questions what we filled while filing the application. Make sure to LISTEN to the question carefully, I was interviewed outside the counter on open area not in a closed room, so it will be a little difficult to hear.

As long as we talk the truth and nothing major like DUI etc we should be good.
We should answer only NO(Most of the crime-related questions if not committed any crimes) and YES for all of the Country Serving purposes like serving the country, join the military as needed, etc.

Then Office told me to verify name & address details just to make sure that I get the notices from usics and sign on the iPad 2 times.

After this, the same signed document printed and handed over to me and Office told me YOU PASSED ALL REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP and Your Application has been recommended for Approval and officer looked at my eyes because he can see my eyes filled with Tears Of Joy

The total interview took about 8-10 mins including updating some typo errors which I made while filling the application online. This is important as well if you fill in any wrong information and this is the right time to correct those mistakes and be truthful to the officer.

Now waiting for the Oath Ceremony Date...

Hope this helps, Be Patience & Good Luck to all.

N600 filing San Antonio
Hi, I have filed N-600 for my 3 years daughter online and the field office is San Antonio TX

Nov 2, 2019 — application filed online
Nov 20, 2019 —— finger printing
Jan 10, 2019 —— status changed online that interview has been scheduled and sent out an appointment notice.

When I checked case status online using the case status by receipt number, it shows that application has been approved and sent out an approval notice.

No letters yet. I sent an message online asking the status. They mentioned that you are waiting to scheduled to do an oath ceremony and once it’s scheduled they will be sending an letter.

Anyone experienced/aware of similar situations ? Appreciate your comments.

Pending Decision for N400
I attended my N 400 interview on 21st Jan, 2020 and passed the civic test. The IO said the decision cannot be made due to pending I 751. A week after I got mail saying my I 751 is transferred from Nebraska to Vermont and in the same week got another mail saying I 751 is transferred from Vermont to NBC Lee Summit MO. I called USCIS to confirm the transfer and they said they have my case in Vermont only and second notice can be error.

Any idea on this?

Thanks

N400 San Francisco
This website has helped me with the N400 interview and I thought I would share my experiences with all of you.

Timeline:
February 10, 2020 We approved your application
February 10, 2020 You attended your interview
January 3, 2020 We scheduled your interview
June 20, 2019 We reviewed your biometrics
June 1, 2019 We scheduled your biometrics appointment
May 27, 2019 We received your application

The interview was fantastic. The officer was very friendly and polite. Once the officer called me into his office we took an oath. He first did the English test which was easy and then the civics test (straightforward). This was all really fast (~ 5 min). Next he went through my application to verify everything - name, DOB, other names, travel dates (and any recent travel dates) and why, employment, and family related questions (like marriage and kids). After, we went through yes and no questions and then the officer asked me to sign. At the end, my application was approved and now I am waiting for an oath date. The officer verbally said that I will be placed in the Feb. 26th ceremony - so I should receive the oath letter any day now.

Overall, it was a great experience. Feel free to ask any questions.

Biometrics- Is the notice Online or Regular Mail?
HI all,
I will be traveling a week after I submit my N400 application in March. I'm worried I might miss the biometrics appointment (I am going abroad for two weeks). Do they send the notice via email or regular mail? How soon after submitting the N400 do you get the appointment email/letter?

Traffic offence
Guy I need some help and thoughts on this.
I sold my car in 2016 to someone but didn't remove the plates however I notified the DMV that time and transferred the liability but that guy didn't transfer to his name (proof available).
Someone who I don't know committed an offense (parked in a non-parking area) I got a letter from the court in 2017 to pay fines as the vehicle was still showing under my name. I paid the fines (not much) and notified the court that I didn't own the car, finally I found the person who was driving it and he eventually transferred the vehicle to his name.
Now, I declared on my N400 under offenses, I also have the receipts for payment of the parking offense however I never committed that parking violation. Do you think it will hurt my case? Someone told me don't declare it on your N400 but I wanted to be very honest so I DID declare and marked the question "yes" under criminal and offenses section.
I also had a small fender bender (crash) without any injury a few years ago, called the police and finally I was at fault, no tickets were issued, I also paid for the other party's damages from my pocket (receipt available) and didn't let the insurance to get involve. I also declared this on N400. Is this going to be an issue on my case?
Any thoughts? Sorry guys for long paragraphs and I truly appreciate your times and help, love you all!
