Greetings everyone on here.
After almost 2 years of waiting for my swearing in In Cleveland Ohio, which was supposed to be done at the field office in Cleveland, I found out that my name was spelt wrong by just an Alphabet.
I told the officer, and He said I cannot be sworn in today because of that.
He tried calling a superior officer the I guess could override it and get me another one same day but i think he already left
I was told they will mail me a new swearing in date.
Please does or has anyone been through this before?
I just want to know what to expect or how long it normally takes to send out a new date to swear in? Please someone should help me.
It's been a 13-year journey that i thought was going to be over today. So heartbroken
Thank you all.

Please Help
Hi, I have applied for citizenship back in September 2021, today I have received an notification which indicates my interview in scheduled for September 30th. I am both nervous and excited. I have applied under 3 years rule.
I have couple of questions, I would really appreciate if you guys can help me with that-
1. How long does it usually take for the interview ?
2. How long did you guys have to wait for the Oath ceremony ?
3. How was your overall experience ?

Also wanted to mention my I-751 got approved on last week ,I was actually expecting a combo interview , as my I-751 was outside of normal processing time.

Should I take my spouse with me to the interview ? or I can go alone ?

Moving from CA to MI
Any filler from Detroit - Michigan ? If so, can you let me know how long did you wait for your interview since you submitted N400 ? .
I am planing to move to Michigan in January 20th 2023 I can apply on December 5th 2022 for citizenship but I am doubting if I should wait till I move to Michigan or if I save one month applying from here and just change the address when I arrive to Michigan. ?
What do you guys think is better?
I have heard many times even when you update your address uscis still send you a notification to your old address and even the interview in the old states where you used to live. So I don’t know what is better to do.

Brooklyn filler N-400
My timeline:
December 16 2021 - filled online
July 11 2022 - interview scheduled
August 15 2022 - interview, was recommended for approval, next day got notice oath ceremony was scheduled for September 1 2022

Applied based on 3 years rule( I could apply on August 2021 but didn’t have time so I did it on December 2021).
Officer asked my taxes for 2021, my baby’s original birth certificate, my ssn (I didn’t have with me so I had to read it from my phone), also asked my birth certificate I didn’t bring either, my passport and gc. Asked if I want added another documents but I said only taxes(I don’t have joint account with my husband anymore and all bills on my husbands name) and we have baby together so I thought it would be enough to prove our marriage it’s legit. Officer also asked my phone number, my husbands birthday, my baby birthday, where I live, last outside travel. Also was talking about my patronymic name( I’m Russian and we have it on our birth certificate) saying it should be on my docs, I said all my documents had first and last name only and I want it this way, I sign some form for change name. But on my oath ceremony notice I saw they added patronymic name , so I have no idea what name would be on my naturalization certificate.
Civic test , reading and writing was easy and quick.
Good luck to everyone!
