Wait 6 months
Interview Letter Recieved: 03/21/2019
Interview: 04/29/2019
Total: 206 days from application to interview.

Passed the test. IO did not ask for any documents, it was very straight forward and quick. I am married applied under 5 year rule. I had one traffic ticket which I listed on my application. I arrived 30 minutes earlier. I took all the supporting documents like tax returns, job offer letters, ticket receipts from the court, joint account statements etc. I did have an attorney. I got N-652 that I passed the test and recommended for approval.
Questions asked:
1. Number of Senators
2. Capital of state
3. Why we got independence from the british
4. What ocean is on the West Coast
5. Name of the Governor.
Could not remember 6th questions.

Good luck to everyone who are waiting.

G56 after 82 days of interview NY
I had my interview on February 6th and that day my IO gave N652 with decisions can not be made and G56 to come back for biometrics on February 15th. I went and did it only my IO was absent that day so other IO took care of me and when I asked about the decision she told me only my IO who took my interview can make decision so wait. After waiting 3-4 weeks I called 800 number and spoke to L2 officer he confirmed that my biometrics are uploaded n all is fine and now when it is almost after 82 days I received call in notice G56 again from Federal plaza with explaining three lines
Ask for: Biometrics information collection
Reason for appointment: Review of your application
Bring with you: your Permanent Resident card

Please suggest or guide if anyone experienced this before.

Address outside of US within 5 years
Hi,

I lived outside the US from 2013-2016, and then for the last 3 years in the US. In the section listing the permanent addresses, I will be putting this foreign address for 2013-2016. Even though my permanent address was outside of the US, I was never outside the US for more than 6 months (made trips at least twice an year). I was outside the US trying to setup a startup company that was building a product for the US consumer market.

Is the fact that I had a permanent address outside the US going to cause an issue?

Thanks

Selective Service
Hi,

I got my PR (through company) when I was 25 years and 2 months. I am trying to file N400 now, and I am 37 years old. It seems like I never applied for selective service, but based on the N400 instructions, if you became a permanent resident between 18-26, you need to file for selective service. However, according to the N400 form, I can answer Yes to 44.A, and leave 44.B blank, due to the statement in 44.C.2. Is that correct?

Thanks
