I rescheduled my interview
Hi fellow fillers

I have been following this site for over 4 years now and I appreciated every entry and experience. That is why I wanted to share this as there is not enough coverage on this subject.

I am Dallas filler, and I received my notice for citizenship interview after more then a year of waiting. I received it exactly a month before the scheduled interview. The problem was, I had a ticket to fly home to visit my family and my flight was leaving 7 days before the interview. I called the airline right away, but changing or cancelling my ticket was just too expensive. So following day, I took the interview notice, my itinerary and ticket, and wrote a letter begging USCIS to reschedule it and couriered it to the USCIS Office. Also, I scheduled INFOPASS just to make sure I get that one-on-one interaction on the matter as well. The earliest they had available was 2 weeks after I sent the letter, and 3 days before my travel. I thought I will hear from them by then, but nope! No word from USCIS or change in my online status. So I go to my INFOPASS schedule and explain this nice lady my situation, I brought copies of everything I mailed. She said we have right to reschedule any interview ONCE and there will be no issues at all! She told me that the officer will not mail anything back until the day of the original interview. She assured me million times that I am good to go and I can take my flight home. So I did! After I got back, there was a new notice for interview in my mailbox - for exacly one month later!

The reason why I wrote this is because all: "Don't do it"; "You will wait forever for reschedule", etc posts. It is perfectly normal to live a life while waiting, and immigration officers are aware of it. I didn't have any emergency reasons to travel, just that I didn't see my family in a year. And they were okay with that. Like really normal and okay!

My new appointment is coming up - so keep your fingers crossed for me and good luck to all :)

GC-Future employment question in citizenship interview!!!!
Background:
I have a question related to feature employment. My I-485 was filed in January 2012 and I have been working with my green card sponsored employer xx Since June 2007. My H1B was expired by May 2012, from June 2012 I was working with the same company xx using my ead. I have received my ead renewal by March 2013 and continued working with the same company xx. In the month of April I have joined with client yy company on Contract to Hire basis. I was with xx for couple of months and I was offered by FT Employment with the Client yy and joined with Client yy in the month of August 2013. When the Client yy was planning to apply my AC21, I received my green card in September 2013. currently I am working with zz since September 2014.
Question:
Now I am eligible to file citizenship what is the possibility of question raised by the Immigration about "Have you worked with your GC sponsored employer?" and How to defend it? Please advise.

Documents Needed for the interview
Hello,

My interview is next week. Do I need to take any documents besides whatever is listed in the appointment letter? I read somewhere people taking originals of the docs they submitted during the N-400 filing. I can take those. I read people taking tax transcript also along with. Is that needed? Any other docs suggested?

Thanks.
