Documents Needed for the interview
Hello,

My interview is next week. Do I need to take any documents besides whatever is listed in the appointment letter? I read somewhere people taking originals of the docs they submitted during the N-400 filing. I can take those. I read people taking tax transcript also along with. Is that needed? Any other docs suggested?

Thanks.

Part-8 N-400 form (information about your employment) question
Background: My wife incorporated a company (an Inc company). However no payroll was run either for her or anyone else as there were no employees and no revenue. She was filing tax returns until now with zero revenue/expenses. She is in the process of dissolving the company. She has been a housewife until recently though she worked in the past ( not thru this company) and had to take a break because of kids.

Question: Does my wife requires to fill the company details in Part-8 N-400 form (information about your employment) or Since she never worked/make money, can she mention house wife in this place. Please advise.

Thanks

PASSPORT PROCESS
Correction from my posting earlier re.: the above subject.

It took only 8 business days from applying until I received my passport.
I chose REGULAR process not the express one.

October 16, 2018We scheduled your interview
February 7, 2018We reviewed your biometrics
January 19, 2018We scheduled your biometrics appointment

Only 2days after my interview, the screen changed again saying "Oath ceremony is scheduled" and it's set on Dec14th, 2018 though the estimated time completion says March 2019. I guess the estimated time is not always accurate. I am so happy that finally it's over!

PSSPORT PROCESS
According to travel.state.gov website, regular process for passport takes 4-6 weeks & costs $110.-.
For expedited process, it takes 2-3 weeks plus extra $60.- on top of $110.- fee.
I chose regular process & my passport took only 2.5 weeks to complete from applying until receipt. Luckily, I didn't choose the express process. Otherwise, I'd lose $60.- for nothing.

Just an FYI.

Copies of Income Tax Returns
For the Naturalization interview, is this just the 2 pages 1040 form or should I bring all the forms included in the taxes? Thanks
