N400 PENDING SINCE MARCH 2017
I have passed my interview test on 14 Dec 2017 but i didnt put last name on initial application. Officer told me he need to run background checks again with complete last name and will issue oath ceremony letter in 8 to 12 weeks. Its been 9 months still waiting for oath ceremony. I opened too many inquiries but same answer that its pending on background checks. Today i received below response via email in response to last inquiry.
We researched your case and found that it required additional review before we could make a decision. We have completed the review of your N-400, Application for Naturalization . We will mail you a notice to you or your representative at the address you gave us.
Does that mean review have been completed and will get notice soon or just generic email ?

Change of status!! I am confused !!!!
Hi everyone,
So... my status had been " Your interview is being scheduled" for a year , a whole year from Aug 2017 to Aug 2017, and now , to add confusion to frustration, now it has changed to "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received" . Btw, the RFE was replied to and received by USCIS in Aug 2017!
What s happening? has any of you guys had to deal with this kind of change in status? I m on the edge of breaking down and cryyyyyy . Really!
I ve been waiting and waiting and waiting and now This??!!

Child Passport Application and original Green Card
Have anybody experience with child passport application? I have applied recently along with original Green Card and birth certificate of my child (based on both parents naturalized recently).
My question is does passport agency returns the original Green Card along with new passport or they withhold the GC card?

My husband filed N400 this May, here’s our time line so far.
05/03/2018 filed online
05/22/2018 finger print done

But we did have a chance to mention our case to a CBP officer at airport when we come back from vacation last week,
He told us that citizenship application normally takes 6months, if we see there is 16 months on the status , it’s an maximum estimated waiting time. It depends on different cases. Every case is different so just be positive. And he suggest us to schedule an infopass appointment. We will go to the appointment on 18th, so I will keep updated.

After almost a year since filing, my wife and I got texts that our interviews are scheduled. We paper filed so we have to wait until the notice comes in the mail. Hang in there everyone, your time is coming.
