NEWARK, OFFICE
Good Morning Guys.

In reference with the office above I do have 2 questions regarding the process. I'm going to have my interview SATURDAY, which I thought it was kind of estrange because is not consider a business days for many entities. Have you guys been in a interview on a SATURDAY? and also regarding the OATH CEREMONY, based on previous experiences thru this forum. I have read that many of you guys have had the Oath ceremony the same day, do you think I could have the same chance to have it the same day even though is a SATURDAY???

I will appreciate your feed back, and if you have had the opportunity through out this office, how was it ????

N-400 Application mistake
I have forgotten to mention about my Misdemeanor C on my N-400 application. My interview date is around the corner. The Misdemeanor C was in 2007 or 2008 (more than 10 years ago) in Texas for theft under $50, I do not remember if I plead guilty or not guilty or deferred adjudication, but I was on 6 months probation and have to do some community service hours. This was my only crime and it was 10 years ago as I was immature. What can I do to make sure I pass my N-400 interview with the USCIS officer. Thanks!

N400 time line, SoCal
Hi everyone,

just adding my experience to give back to all the helpful posts i've read thats assisted me throughout this (and my GC originally too!)
Circumstances - N400 through spouse, (after a 3Year GC), we've been married 16 years, have 4 kids... (who are all dual citizens US/Aus) ... it went a lot easier and smoother than i expected so...

My GC was granted Jun2015...
Application Received - May21 2018
Biometrics scheduled - May25 2018
Biometrics done - Jun15 2018
Biometrics reviewed - Jun15 2018
Interview scheduled - Jul26 2018
Interview done - Sep04 2018
Interview approved - Sep04 2018
Ceremony scheduled - Sep18 2018

Had my wife with me for the interview, which i read was not necessary but just a 'nice to do in case' your IO wonders where or why they're not with you... (spouse cannot attend the interview anyway...). I had submitted the application all online along with scans of supporting documents, other than my GC and Drivers Licence, my IO didn't ask for anything else though i had brought it all along with me.
I was asked to verify all my details, addresses etc, spouse, kids details, and then the questions regarding affiliations etc.
My IO gave the civics test (note - it's NOT multiple choice, you're just expected to listen and answer verbally...) , read a sentence and wrote a sentence and was then advised that she's recommending me for approval and gave me the N654 advising... she told me that i should expect a letter within a month for the ceremony scheduling and another month (usually) for the actual ceremony.
But to my surprise (and happiness) , i got an update on my portal overnight that 'action had been taken' and when i logged in, i saw that it had been approved and my scheduled ceremony date is 18th Sept, less than 2 weeks away !

So again, thanks for all those who have shared their experiences (good and bad) and for everyone else going through the process, all the best and wishing you good outcomes also.

Sid

Dallas N/400 interview September 17
Do you need recent pics at your interview? We lived at this Apartment location for 2 years, we have our sign lease documents, think we forgot to give change of address from our other place, l hope having the lease papers will be enough. Seems like they are verifiing address before approval is given on the interview.

AZ Please share Timeline
Hi, I filed my citizenship Sep 15th my PD is oct 6th. I have been in line for an interview since Nov 2nd. Since I have followed this site to get an idea of how the process is going for others. I noticed that in AZ the interviews were arriving exactly a year after from PD, but my case still says the line for an interview. Can anybody in AZ share their timeline? Also, I had a DUI in 2011, I was only 21 when I got my DUI and I have nothing else on my record, and I obtained a degree from ASU, filed my taxes, etc. But I'm still worried :(
