N400 Oath Ceremony Delays
Anybody waiting for the Oath ceremony?

My friend lives in Chattanooga, TN and had her interview at the Memphis office on 5/22/2018. She also requested a name change. There have been no updates since the interview, although at that time, the officer told her that it would take 2 to 2.5 months, it has been almost 3 months. We were getting anxious.

Dallas Interview Experience
I had my naturalization interview in Dallas yesterday. My application is totally clean with no international trips in the last 5 years and no tickets or anything. I passed the test, but got "Decision cannot be made". The officer told me she wanted to do some more verifications. Has anyone experienced this?

NBC- Waiting for interview notice
I am relatively new, but here is my status:

July 16, 2018: We reviewed your biometrics
June 30, 2018: We scheduled your biometrics appointment
June 25, 2018: We received your application

My Service Center is NBC, which stands for National Benefits Center. Is this common? Do other people have NBC on their notices?

Here is the info about the NBC:
https://www.uscis.gov/archive/blog/2012/06/national-benefits-center-what-it-is-and

"The NBC serves a unique role within our organization as part of the Field Operations Directorate. The NBC was founded in 2001 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri and was originally called the Missouri Service Center (which is why receipt notices from the NBC will begin with the letters “MSC”).

Processing times of the Form I-485 and Form N-400 applications are determined by each Field Office, not the NBC, since final adjudication is not conducted at the NBC."

Question:
I assume my processing center is my local Field Office (Lawrence MA), not the Missouri Center.

BROOKLYN NY TIMELINE
I don't know how to emphasize how miserable I was during the process and how I would look at the forums in here almost everyday and that will just trigger my anxiety attacks. IF YOU CAME HERE AND YOU ARE WAITING, LET ME ASSURE YOU THAT IT WILL COME. And the long wait will be all worth it.

Here's my timeline:

Sept 29, 2012 -- I arrived for the first time in the US

June 30, 2017 -- I started the application process with my lawyer, 90 days prior to my anniversary date

July 10, 2017 -- USCIS received my application

August 10, 2017 -- Biometrics

September 2017 -- I changed address (I don't know if this expedited the process a little, the fact that I am assigned to a different USCIS office this time)

**THEN THE LONGEST WAIT**

(I probably checked my case status 1000 times, argued with my lawyer for slacking off, requested case inquiry for the delay, attempted to get an info pass but did not because.......)

May 19, 2018 -- USCIS assigned an interview schedule

June 28, 2018 -- Interview day

August 10, 2018 -- Oath taking day

HANG ON TIGHT! Things happen in their own time. Best of luck to everyone!
