N-400 case
Hi guys, anyone from Orlando? I´m still waiting any notice about the intervew.

Form received on May 15th, 2017
Biometrics done: June 20th, 2017
At the present I´m still in line for an interview and I don´t know anything about my case. At this point, I´m worried.

Does anyone know why this is taking so long?
I´ll really appreciate your reply

Citizenship Based on asylum But I had annulment before I was granted the asylum? what is the impact
I applied for citizenship based on asylum, But I had an annulment marriage before I was granted the asylum? what is the impact on my pending N-400 application?

I have done the fingerprint and waiting for my Citizenship interview soon,
9 years a go I had annulment, however I didn't apply for any paper work based on the marriage.

I had the annulment in 2009. (the marriage was only for 2 months)
I was granted asylum in 2011 based on cavil war in my home country.
now my green card is based on the asylum and my n-400 as well.

How could the annulment effect my n-400 application?

The interview was for 10 min, The IO was a cool man picked me from waiting room , after he swore me in, he asked for the Passport/GC/ Driving Lic, checked them with the name on application and gave them back to me.

Then he took the bio-metrics and photo after that he took the reading , writing and civics test and went throughout my form from the beginning to the end and put a check mark against each step on the form.

He was just orally verifying what we wrote on form and putting a check mark, nothing specific nor in detail. Quick check and just tick tick tick...

At that time I told the IO I have a few corrections in the form as I put the
year as 2017 instead of 2016 on one of the return date, he said he will change it when he gets to that page and changed it.

N-400 filed 8 yrs after getting employed based GC.
The IO just asked the location and casually about the product of the current business and nothing about the past employment.

He made me sign the oath form and some papers and gave me N-652 check marked "Congratulations you are recommended for
approval", and said I should receive the oath letter within 90 days, and the very polite IO
walked with me to let me out.
Just after 3 business days it has been updated to ' We placed in line for your oath "

Be honest while filling the form and also at the interview, nothing to worry if any corrections to be made in the form.
I took a whole bunch of papers but he just saw my Passport/GC/ Driving Lic,

Oath Ceremony Time Frame?
Hi,

I had my interview for naturalization on 08/11/2017. Two weeks later on on August 28th my status was updated online and now it says '' We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxx, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. ''

I am located in Chicago. How long does it take to be scheduled for oath ceremony. I need to travel with US passport on September 24th. Will it be possible to be scheduled for oath ceremony before September 24th?

Does anyone have similar experience in Chicago?

 Thanks.

Oath Ceremony will be scheduled for NYC
Hi,

My case status online has just changed to this:

"Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled

We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number YYYY ZZZ, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony."

Does anyone know how long it will take before I get the notice for the ceremony and also how long it will take before the ceremony itself?

Thank you.

In line for interview
When your case is updated to "in line for interview" does this mean that I passed the background check?

Thanks
