Hello guys,
I will be traveling inside the country right after my Oath Ceremony. So I was thinking of applying to my passport (as my international trips are coming up shortly) right after my Oath Ceremony. So my question is, can I start working on my passport application NOW, finish it and print it and take it to the Postal Office once I have my naturalization certificate after the Oath Ceremony?
Please let me know if you have some ideas.

Dallas field office experience
Dear friends,
My filing location is Dallas and I am also residing in Dallas. I am planning to go to out of country for about 2 months. Domestic violence issue
Hello all!
I am just little worried about my domestic violence arrest in 2009. Some stupid neighbor called a cop on us when my girlfriend and I were arguing. Later, the case was dismissed by the judge since my girlfriend did not show up at the court because she never had any intention to press the charge. I have mentioned this incident on all my previous immigration applications including N400 with the original certification from the court. Will this incident impact my upcoming N400 interview?

Long Journey
Finally this long journey it's about to end. waited 8 long months for my interview to be scheduled and it finally did. So please people, be patience, it will happen!

06/27/2017 We scheduled an interview for your Form N-400 for an interview.
08/03/2017 Interviewed in Federal Plaza. Passed the civil/history test. Changed address to Brooklyn, NY. Discussed a traffic infraction from 2009. I was given a paper that read "A decisiton cannot yet be made about your application."
08/10/2017 Your application was placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling.
08/24/2017 Your application has been scheduled. You will get the notice in the mail.
08/28/2017 Received a call from USCIS/NY saying my ceremony has been scheduled for Friday 9/1. Received notice in the mail EOD.
09/01/2017 Will be a US Citizen!

Interview: the officer was not particularly friendly, six questions, a sentence to read and a one more to write. Sent me to get 2 passport photos, so it may be beneficial for you to have them with you. Stamped my application "Approved", but gave me no letter.

Current Online Status: "Fingerprint Appointment Was Scheduled."
Raised few Outside of Normal Processing requests but nothing as of yet.

Oath Ceremony Time Frame?
Hi,
I had my interview for naturalization on 08/11/2017. Two weeks later on August 28th my status was updated online and now it says '' We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxx, with the date , time and location of your oath ceremony ''
I am located in Chicago. How long does it take to be scheduled for oath ceremony? I need to travel with US passport on September 24th. Will it be possible to to be scheduled before September 24th. ?
Does anyone have similar experience in Chicago?

Expired passport is lost
My expired passport can't be found anywhere and it is one of the items listed to bring to my naturalization appointment. I have my current passport.
How important is having the expired one? Anyone experienced this problem?
