Dalla, TX NBCxxxx
Received N400 11/15/2016
Fingerprint 12/23/2016

Today it's been 9 months and one day and it still says fingerprint scheduled..... when I check my status.

How long is this supposed to take? I mean when I see most people here they get their interview before that.

Is this normal? when will I get at least an update or something that shows they are working on my file too?

This is just ridiculous, frustrating and unbelievable.

Does anyone know what I can do or is there anyone that is experiencing the same as me?

Thank you

Hi, both my N-400 application and my husbands were sent in together, same package, separate checks. Mine was cashed 2 days ago, not his. Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks

online website to check status
where do you guys check your status online? I've been checking mine on My USCIS and wasn't sure if this was the correct site. I've already received the biometric appt letter, but it doesn't reflect in the online system. Just states case was received 7/27 and that's it.

Just came home from interview
Today aug 15 my interview was appointed 8:20 ,IO called me 9:30 she was very nice the whole process was not even 10 mins . She ask me few question from my n400 application where I live where I work date of birth . And simple 6 question I answed correctly then something g about presidents Lincoln have to read and write . I was nervous Bez I got divorce from my spouse who get me here in USA from India and I'm married again but she just ask me what's the name of current wife and when I get divorce that's it big relief . Then She congratulate me I passed and She recommended for approval and give me the n652 and said I'll get oath letter in few weeks.
So be patient Bez the process is slow and frustrating. Don't worry if have paid your tax no crime then you good . Your turn ll come soon . I'm writing this Bez I used to read other people's post that was giving hope and strength . May my post ll do same for those who still in line . Thanks you .

Timeline Experience
From Houston and here is my painfully slow experience so far.

PD: 10/12/2016
Fingerprints: 10/24/2016
In Line for interview: 11/10/2016
Waited.....Waited.....Waited
Finally received notice for status change: 8/4/2017 - Full 10 months after PD
Interview date is: 9/12/2017

Can someone from Houston please comment on their experience post interview in regards to the oath ceremony and passport.

I have to go out of the country on the 22nd of September which is just 10 days after my interview and am worried I will either miss the oath ceremony, or will have to give up my GC and not be allowed back in the country.
