San Jose, CA field office
Hello everyone,
Does anyone have a case pending or recently completed the process in the San Jose field office? I am wondering how long the process is taking. On the USCIS website it states that they are barely processing cases filed as of April 23, 2016. I am a little nervous as my green card expires in November. I am hoping the process doesn't take that long. Should I renew my green card just to be on the safe side?

N-400 Processing Time
Hi guys,
Hoping someone is on the same boat as me and can shed some light.
I submitted my docs July 25, 2016. I did the finger prints on August 17, 2016. Since then I have not received any other information since.
I patiently monitor the status of the Miami office which is where I submitted. Does not update regularly.
As of today, website states:
Processing cases as of date May 12, 2016. However the website says:
Field Office Processing Dates for Miami FL as of: January 31, 2017, and in the bottom right corner says:
last updated March 14, 2017.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I am finally a citizen of the United States of America! My process took 11 months but I am now glad it is over. My timeline below:
5/13/2016 - Sent application

3/2/2017 - Received Oath Letter

I am an Alexandria, VA resident and my field office was the Fairfax Field Office. My oath ceremony was scheduled for 8:30am in Alexandria, VA but the ceremony did not officially start till 10am since there were 605 people being naturalized on that day. I left at 11:05am after receiving my certificate. Everything was well. I had an appointment at the passport agency the same day at 2pm to get my passport and was told to pick up my passport in 2 days. I am very excited and happy because I will be travelling in less than two weeks!

My timeline for N400
I learned a lot from reading your experience with N400 application and just joined the site.
I applied in December 2016 - FP in January 2017 and In Line for interview in February 2017.
No updates since then but I am hopping it's coming soon!

This question is directed to those people who completed naturalization process successfully.
So I have sent my N-400 form. I found out they cashed my check but I still haven't received a letter from USCIS for finger prints. How long does it normally takes to get Fingerprint mail from USCIS?
Second question, when do you take English and Civic test?
Do you think going through 100 sample questions is enough for the civic test?
