Self sponsored B2 visa application
I am retired from a reputed Indian Company. My son is working in the US for the last one year. He is on a H1B visa. Myself and my wife have applied for a tourist visa. It is a self sponsored visit. We own a house and two other properties are under construction. I have good savings in FD and I also have sound demat portfolio. My pension income is not high. If I add up interest income, dividend, pension, it would be more than 5L. I have saved more than 7L for a month long trip. Could someone tell me about our chances of getting the visa ? I will be delighted if you could give me some tips . Regards,

Vistors Visa Interview Soon, Once rejected four years ago !
Hello all, I just found this website today and was looking for a bit help in getting a visitor visa.
I am 23years old male living in Pakistan. I just completed my BBA(Hons) from a well reputed University in Lahore and Joined our family Business which is a Flour Mill. I intent to go the U.S initially for attending this short course on flour milling which is a week long, and then secondly to visit my sister who got married to my cousin who in the U.S two years ago. I have started working as Managing Director at my Mill since May 2013 and even before that I worked here part time while i was completing my education. This course is important to me as it is about the field of business that i am in and my father has also attended several courses like that as it will help me in gaining latest knowledge about the industry.

I applied for the same course 4 years ago and my visa was rejected, reasons for rejections were that i was too young at that time for a professional course, still completing my studies, and too dependent on my parents.

As of my familys history in terms of the traveling to the U.S is concerned, My parents and grandparents have never been rejected a U.S visa before and all of them have multiple visas for five years currently. My younger brother and sister have also visited the U.S before as visitors and came back. Now my younger brothers visa has expired and two years ago my sister was married to my cousin who is a U.S citizen and now she is currently living there on permanent residence.

Now my questions to you are that , How much are the chances for me to get a visa and what should i be carefull about in my interview. A little help will be greatly appreciated !

2. one of my sister and father are in US but other members are here. ( i haven't met my father since 2 years)
3. I am married, no kids but have a very strong job in Pakistan (working as a Senior Manager with salary almost 2 lac per month). I travelled to UAE on a business trip (will be travelling again in for another meeting. I also had a schegen visa which expired last month.
4. My total job experience 7+ yrs (almost 3.7 years with current employer)
5. My employer applied for B1 visa in 2010 when i had just joined the company and i was unmarried at that time so it got rejected.
6. My immigration petition was filed by my parent but i got married therefore i was no longer eligible. so techincally i am out of their immigration system (also informed them about the change of status and requested to withdraw)
7. My husband's in canada (refugee claimant) but he went on student visa.

I want to visit my family in US on a 15 days vacation. I have property here including home n car. what are my chances? My husband's status in Canada might hurt my case although i sincerely want to visit my father n sister. How should i answer any questions related to my husband?

Hi,
I see most of the people sharing their experience, but blank out details liker their salary. I feel telling your salary is nothing big. No 1 on this site knows you, knows you phone no., address. So why hide how much your salary is ? By telling others it will give them a fair idea of what kind of chance they have.

Guidance for B2 visitor visa from Spain
Hello- I am wondering if someone has had any experience in guiding me in a matter. I am a US Citizen and my boyfriend lives in Spain. We met while he was visiting the US under the visa waiver program. He currently can't enter under a visa waiver to the USA because there where some apparent issues and that visa was suspended. He is working in Spain, has a company there, lives with his dad and owns an apartment, meaning he has ties there. I am legally married here in the USA and I am going through a very lengthly divorced so there is no reason for him to stay here but he did want to apply for a Visa B2. visitor for a period of 3 weeks because I am having surgery and he wanted to help me through the recovery. My surgery is scheduled for 11/14/13. He is financially able to sponsor himself and pay for his own expenses and in addition to that, I also make a good salary. What are the chances that his visa gets approved and he can come be with me during my surgery and recovery and then return home? I am able to provide a letter from my physician stating the time that I will be recovering and that is the time that he will be requesting for which is approx 3 weeks. Any advice or suggestions?

Thank you in advance.
AXM
