Need help - reapplying B2 visa for my sister
I work in a renowned company in USA. My sister and brother-in-law along with their two kids (both less than 14) applied for the travelers visa. Only my sister was to visit me with her kids for 3 weeks but I applied visa for my brother-in-law as well. They all got rejected with 214(b). Here are the questions:

VO: Asked about my profession and address
Brother-In-Law: Answered

VO To my Brother In law: What do you do?
Brother-In-Law: Works as a Director of the department of Pharmacy in a private engineering college.

VO To my Brother In law: What is your salary?
Brother-In-Law: Answered. It was 75k < salary < 100K

VO To my Brother In law: How many students are there in your department?
Brother-In-Law: ~350

VO To my Brother In law: Who else is there in your family?
Brother-In-Law: My mom and dad have passed away. Have one younger brother, he works in a company in Bangalore.

VO To my Sister: What do you do?
Sister: Homemaker.

VO To my Sister: who all are their in your family?
Sister: Mother and an elder brother.

VO To my Sister: Do you live with your mother?
Sister: No, I live with my husband.

VO typed something on her computer and then returned all 4 passports back along with the form 214(b).

I am not sure what had gone wrong. I am wondering it could be because my brother-in-law recently joined this new job around 8 moths back. But before that he had more than 10 years.

I am thinking of reapplying for visa for my sister and her two kids (without my brother-in-law) again after sometime (~ after 3-4 moths). Since, my brother-in-law would not be going this time, will that be strong enough reason for my sister to come back and not stay there?

USA - B2 Visitor Visa Interview Experience
Hi Guys,

This website has helped me in preparing for my Visa interview. I am sharing my experience as well. Fortunately, my visa is approved.

Visa Type and Purpose: B2 Visitor Visa for attending sibling's graduation ceremony.
My profile: Working professional in Mumbai for last 3 years. Have traveled to Europe earlier on Student Exchange program. Never traveled to US earlier.
Documents carried: Graduation letter from University, Letter from my employer stating no objection and approved leave for the intended travel period, Bank statement with sufficient funds, others.

VO: Why do you want to visit US?
Me: My sister is graduating next month. I would like to attend her graduation ceremony.
VO: Which University?
Me: Told her the university name
VO: Why are you applying from Mumbai? (My passport is issued in my home city which is not Mumbai. I suppose that's why the question.)
Me: I am working here in Mumbai. So, it is convenient for me to apply from here.
VO: Your Visa is approved. Thank you.

It hardly lasted for about 30 seconds. I was kind of surprised at such a short period and only 3 questions. VO didn't ask for any document from me other than the passport.

I have got 10 year multiple entry Visa with type as B1/B2

Need urgent suggestion for second application trial!!
In my first trial I got refused because I had no travel history and I could not prove that I am capable to pay for my trip. Actually, my all accomodation expenses are going to be paid by my fiance’s father, I will just pay for my food. It was our mistake to write that I was going to pay the trip because we already got the tickets and booked the car. My fiance’s father paid all these, I can prove that. Before applying for second application I am also going to travel to England to have a travel history. My question is do you think it is a good idea to tell my fiance’s father will sponsor me? We will go all together and my fiance, fiance’s father and mother has visas. Please please help!! It is really IMPORTANT!!!!

B2 Visa application
Hello!!

Sharing my experience... My application for B2 Visa got rejected.
Seeking an advice so I could get the pink paper the next time i apply:)

Im Single. 24 yrs old and i have relatives in the US. I applied together with my cousin, we did not apply as a family so we had a different counter.

My interview goes like this:

Me: Good Morning!

VO: Hi! Can i have your passport.
(handed my passport to him)

VO: whats the purpose of your travel?

Me: I would love to visit New York and spend sometime with my Grandparents.

VO: Are your Grandparents American Citizens?

Me: Yes. They are US Citizens

VO; How do they acquired their citizenship??

Me: Became nervous for a moment...
I am not so sure how they acquired it ( and honestly I really dont have an idea)

VO: What is your work?

Me: Im a HR Assistant in a Testing Laboratory.

VO: How long have you been working there?

Me: more than 3 years

VO: Have you traveled before?

Me: Yes, I went to Italy, just last year.

VO: Are you married?

Me: No. Im single

After some typing... He gave me a white paper (214b)

During the interview proper he is just looking at the Computer and typing without even looking at me -__-

VO: i cannot give you a visa for now because you do not have a clear purpose.

Me: Thank You.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAA .... the feeling of rejection was just sooooooo T_T

Planning to apply 2 to 3 months from now..

He did not ask for any documents.
I was thinking that this question regarding how my grandparents acquired their US Visa triggered my rejection plus me being single and young. My cousin with the same age as mine got rejected too.. She had a lot of travels before this application (India, Netherlands, Malaysia, Georgia)

Please advice.

Thanks in Advance:)

Please help !!
hello
last Wednesday my fiance applied for a visa in Cyprus and unfortunately his visa was denied.

Situation was llike this;
he does not have a property,
he is working in an accounting office for a year
living with his family and
he has no travel history.

But this trip was a gift from my father as an engagemet present for us. My father has already paid flight tickets , rent a car and paid for the hotel. In his first trial he said he will sponsor himself but for this application we are planning to write my father will sponsor him who is a rector in an university in Cyprus. Moreover, we are planning on 3 day trip to Romania few weeks before his application. So that he could have a travel history.
My father and I got British passports so we already got visas. And my mom also applied and got a visa.

My father will also write a letter which will specify that we will go all together and come back together and he will pay all of his expenses.
Moreover, we are going to get married in September 2019. So it's obvious that we will turn back.
So what do you think? what are the chances? or what do you suggest?
Please help I really want him to come with me to America it was our engagement present :((
