VO asked I797,client letter, LCA, I129 and Emplotemnt verfication letter and I gave everything on the spot , but VO handed over the blue slip and ticked "administrative Processing" . He didn't ask any other documents.
Update :3_28: My Attrorney Contacted the VFS yesterday: It's looks like they are waiting for PIMS verfication.
So far cleint verification didn't happen. I went for interview on 3-5-2018 but the case got created on '3-3-2018'.
did USCIS decide before the interview date ?
UPdate: Last week my client got the "Employment Verification " from embassy . It looks like they have reverted back with approval email.
Contacted NVC: Customer representative saying they have all the information & waiting for the final review.
but still no update. CEAC website showing "Administative Processing" .

Attended interview on 04/18/2018 - VO asked general questions regarding petitioner, client, educational background. Answered all the questions and gave 221-G white slip, kept my passport and received an email from the consulate on the same day to submit my resume, employment verification letter, itinerary, and to answer a general questionnaire.
Sent response on 04/19/2018 - Received Acknowledgement on 19 Apr itself.
04/25/2018- Received an email to collect the passport. Online status not changed. When I collected my passport, it still has 221-G white slip in it.
05/07/2018 - Client verification was performed.
05/18/2018 - Received an email to submit passport. Status still shows "AP". Submitted passport on the same day.
05/21/2018 - Case last updated changed to "05-21-2018". Status still "AP".
05/22/2018 - Case updated to "Issued".
05/23/2018 - Approved

On My Interview day VO asked all typical questions, which i answered. After 5 mins of interview he handed green slip and my Passport. This slip had documents to be submitted via email to embassy. I submitted all documents on same day of interview i.e 12th April 2018. On 17th May i got email to that AP is completed and i need to submit my passport. Immediately on 18th May i submitted my Passport. On 21st May 2018 my Visa status online changed to Issued. Got email to collect passport on same day. Passport will be collected by My company.

I had my interview on Sep6th 2017, below are the questions asked by the VO:

Didnt ask for a single document and gave me 221g white slip.
Got a call from FPU on Sep 30, asked some questions and documents.
Submitted them on Oct 1st.
Asked the senator to check on the update on Nov 22nd and on Mar 17th again, received a reply from the Consulate stating we cant give an ETA on Administrative processing.
Its Jan 4th 2018 today and I still didnt hear anything from them. I really dont know whats going on. I have all the documents they want and still going through all this.
Its May 21st 2018 and Still no update.

Finally got my visa and passport today
Here is the time line mumbai consulate
H1B visa EVC model working for State Dept client
1. Interview March 27 ,2018 got 221 G asking to email Contract documents and vacancy letter Of End client
2, Send Documents on Mach 29th 2018 by Email
3, Client HR got verification Email form DOS on April 18th 2018 (even though vacancy letter has client managers email id (state dept client) client manager was on leave for 2 weeks so client Hr waited and client Hr replied to the DOS email on May 5th 2018 (2 weeks delayed cause of this)
4, Finally got the approval mail from ustravel docs to submit passport on may 14,2018
5, Dropped passport on march 16th ,2018
6, Received passport with visa on 18th ,2018

VO asked questions regarding highest degree that I have, how many children I have (my younger son was with me for L2), what my spouse does, and description of my work. When it came to ML, VO asked does it mean AI? Explained that. Got the 221g. VO kept both of our passports and all 3 copies of the all the forms. VO said I will receive an email asking what additional things I need to send. I was asked to send my resume, list of publications and patents, project description, references who can talk about my research, an invitation letter from the US office and list of all countries I have travelled to in the last 10 years.
