Mar 2nd, 2018: Attended the H1B interview with family at Chennai Consulate and received 221g blue slip for the admin processing.
May 10th, 2018: Received an email from Chennai consulate to submit my passport.
May 14th, 2018: Submitted my and my family's passports at Chennai VAC.
May 17th, 2018: Collected the passport with the Visa stamped.

I am going to US to obtain my commercial pilot license. I have done engineering prior to this and have a work experience of 2.5 years(approx) in application testing domain. I was asked about the switch, and i told her the reason, that my brother’s a pilot in Vistara and it is an amazing job, loved it, and so want to switch from my present profile, which i do not like!
Had my Visa interview on 2nd April, 18
Then asked me to submit a few documents and said the process will take around 3-4 weeks. Course: 10th may starting
9/5/2018 called NVC, same information, admin processing, no timeframe. Will call Delhi embassy tomorrow.
11th May called embassy, same info!
16th May: [email protected] replied with. Generic response 60 days, etc etc.
17th May: Case Last Updated Changed to 17th May, 2018
18th May: Status changed to issued! Best of luck to all!

22 March - interview date and handed over 221g white slip
25 March - Documents submitted by the employer and received the acknowledgement that they receive my documents.
For 1 month there is no change in the status date and it is same as interview date
After 1 month
26 April - status changed around 5 PM
9 May - status update
11 May - received email to submit passport around 2 PM
14 May - Submit Passport
16 May - Status date update
17 May - Status Changed to 'Issued'
18 May - Passport is ready to pickup (golden words)
Picked up the passport from center .

Don't loose hope guys things will take time but in the end VISA will be approved

I went for dropbox on Feb12th 2018. After a week passport was returned with 221g Blue slip to appear for Face to face interview. On Feb 22nd went for interview. They asked standard questions like End Client, Salary, My employer. They scanned Client letter, Vendor letter, 2 years W2 , Paystubs, My I797 petiton. After 2 hours they told they need to do back office processing and it might take few weeks. They returned my passport and issues another 221g blue. I work in EVC model.
May 11th - Got an email to submit the passport
May16th - Date updated to May16th
May 17th - Status changed to issued
May18th - Collected Passport

Hi All,
The vo asked me to Email all the documents to HydAdmin@ and did email the documents on 23rd April.
My case status was updated twice 30th April and 3rd May.
Received call from embassy on May 7th to email LCA and Client letter to Hydfpu@.. within an hour..did as they said.
Since then no update and no acknowledgement whether they have received the documents.

- Collected passport on April 5th, got 221g form in which they requested for fingerprints / client letter and asked to attend the interview
- provided fingerprints / client letter /interview in Chennai consulate on April 12th
- VO asked questions like salary, high qualification, client name, petitioner name, year of graduation, start date of OPT, what i was doing from the time i graduated till i my OPT started.
- After the interview VO said they need more time to process my application and gave blue slip. Nothing was checked in the blue slip except for admin processing.
- April 13th, Client got request for verification, hr responded on same date
- April 19th, Client got request with some follow up questions, hr responded on April 20th.
- May 16th, received email from Chennai H & L asking for additional document (client letter and SOW after June 2018 (current contract end date)). Anyone faced this situation? Please suggest
