29-Jan-2018 - Submitted all documents requested in Dropbox for H1 and H4 together.
9-Feb-2018 - Collected passports with two separate 221-G slips for H1 and H4. 221-G additional notes to submit all old passports and also appear for an interview at consulate. Both H1 and H4 need to appear.
12-Feb-2018 - We went to interview at chennai consulate at 10 AM and the VO asked below questions.
- Company name, location, Salary, Employment type
- Spouse : How many years we were married
After 20 mins she then collected our passports , gave us one 221-G blue form with Admin Process ticked. No docs requested.

Received passport with 221G blue slip on 1/31 asking for additional docs and appearing for interview.
Employer Submitted all the docs on 2/23 and I appeared for interview on 2/26
Received 221G blue slip again and VO said no more docs needed. Passport returned to me. The CEAC status shows AP till date.
3/22 - No updates till today 12PM
4/12 - I received mail from ChennaiH&L to submit my passport and I submitted on the same day

I work for a robotics company, and had my visa stamped about 2 years ago, but the stamp on my passport was for 2 years, although my visa was valid for 3 years. My visa went through administrative processing last time as well.
During the interview the consulate officer asked me if work for a robotics company and a few related questions. I was then told, there was no reason why my visa would not be approved, but there may be a delay due administrative processing.
