I have a PhD from a US University and I do research in CS related topics. Interview went very well and we had a really cordial chat. The officer said both my wife's and my visa were approved. After four days I checked the ceac website and my wife's visa (H4) has been issued while mine (H1) has gone into administrative processing. No slip given. No documents asked. I did not recieve any email. My wife went through something similar two years ago for her H1 (she got a slip at that time) and it took two months. Hoping it doesnt take that long this time.

Hi ,
Originally, I submitted my passport via drop box for stamping. I got 221(g) requesting company info, tax documents, project information etc. Attended interview on Dec: 8th, VO collected all the documents and given the 221(g) with administrative processing selected. VO informed during interview that it will take few weeks. No response yet.
Checked with website that it will take maximum 60 days. Does it mean 60 working days? Anyone guide me..

I attended the interview on 21st December. The VO asked regular questions and gave me a 221g white slip asking for resume, research details, invitation letter and contact details. I submitted the documents online the same day and now waiting for any updates from CEAC website. Just wondering if contacting NVC may provide some additional information about any updates.

I have submitted my visa renewal docs via Dropbox @ Delhi consulate. Current Status is showing as "Administrative Processing" for adjudicative review. Whereas i have not received any mail / email to submit any additional document and also my employer did not received any letter for verification. Its a 5th week running whereas no updates yet.
