I was eligible for VISA DROP BOX; I have dropped the I797 document and my passport at Visa pplication center. after 10 days I have got my passport with Invalid date. I have contacted the customer care and they asked me to submit the passport for correction. after 15 days they gave me my passport with 221 G letter and asked to appear for an interview with some mandatory documents. I have attened the interview and VO told me still he need to do additional processing and gave 221G letter again.
My problem is My family is in USA; I was stuck up here. My client also urging me to join their earlier. I have been waiting till now for more than 5 weeks and My status didnt changed . What can I do now? can i contact USCIS as they have already approved my Visa?

During the interview itself, all the documents was collected along with my I-797 and passport.
Interviewer informed me that my petition details is not updated properly in the system and it required some administrative processing.
Till now the status date is same as submission date and status is same 'Administrative Processing'
Now when I check the passport status i am getting the message "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted",
initially I was getting the message ' you passport is still with US Embassy'
Passport returned without visa on 07/21/2016, Visa status is still 'Administrative Processing'

Approved I-140. and i797. My last h1b was stamped for same employer. They gave me 221g (small white slip) and ask to submit document . Submitted same day online. Current status admin process. Any one have any idea how long this will take?
October 13- Today I got email to submit passport . Also ceac "last update date" change to 13 October for 1st time.
October 17 - Second update "Last update date" change to 17 October admin process
October 18 - Third update " Last update date " change to 18 October ISSUED also got text to collect passport.
October 20 - Passport collected with visa stamp on it.
