The interview was positive and this 221(g) is most probably a TAL case as I mentioned to the VO that my field of interest is Information Security and I also hold a certification in cyber security (EC-Council CEH v7). My classes start on 22nd August. So, hoping to get the visa by 1st August.
Update (10-Jun-2016):- My Visa got Issued today, so in all it took 19 days for Administrative Processing. Good luck to all those still stuck, and never lose hope. :)

Update:-
3rd May 2015-- Called NVC, No updates, Documents are received on 18th April.
(client) in US was contacted on 11th May 2015 regarding assignment start state.
19th May 2015-- Called NVC, Still In AP, going under necessary administrative processing.
27th May got mail from US Consulate Mumbai to submit Passport and 221(g) pending letter along with mail that they sent.

I'm on vacation in India after staying for 2 years in US on H1 (my petition recently renewed), so had to go for re-stamping.
Mar-17-2016: Interview, VO asked couple of questions, kept all my documents (passport, i797, LCA etc) & gave me 221(g) for submitting more documents.
Status date: Mar-17-2016, Online status was Admin Processing
March-21-2016: Submitted documents through email
May-9-2016: I sent an email to consulate requesting status & got a reply from consulate: "Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) had tried contacting my client to gather some information & was waiting for their response."
I informed my employer to request client for responding to KCC, but client said that they did not receive any communication from KCC.
May-25-2016: Client sent an email to consulate mentioning my assignment with them.
May-27-2016: Status date updated for first time
May-28,29,30 (long weekend)
May-31-2016: Status updated to Issued
May-31-2016: SMS for passport ready to collect.

I went for stamping in June 1,2016
Answered all the questions , provided the documents like LCA and client letter . But the VO asked me to wait for a while . After one hour I was called in another counter where an Indian lady requested for all my petitioner documents and returned my passport . Few minutes later the VO appeared and gave me blue slip 221g with just checking the checkbox that requires additional admin processing and asked me to track the status online .
Not sure how long it's gonna take .. Anyone on the same boat ?
