I have attended my H1B interview on April 07, 2016.
Consular give me yellow slip without asking any additional documents. Yellow slip contains only words "Admin Processing".
Its 42 days gone still status showing "Admin Processing". and now I have good opportunity in my hand but may be because of this issue I will loss that opportunity.
So please suggest should I call or mail them to know the status or wait till 60 days.

I have attended interview on 26th with my family. VO asked for Education Evaluation. Unfortunately I was not carrying the same. VO returned the Passport with a white form and marker in other section and mentioned Evaluation of Education and Experience needed. Later collected the same from my HR and submitted the docs on 27th. VAS people collected all docs and also collected passport and put the same in a green bag. And also give me a receiving for the same. Is this the process for document submission. Please update.
First Change in status: 13th May(Only Date Changed)
Next Update 16th(issued)- Around 4'o clock
On 17th -Passport ready for pick up
On 18th- Collected.
My case got resolved in 21 days.

Background: did my Ms and PhD in pharma in Us. Currently, I am on OPT working with small biotech company. Went to visa interview for renewing my F1 Visa.
Interview date: March 30 2016, was given a 221g white color slip. Got an email to submit Questionnaire, Resume, Publications and Invitation letter.submitted on March 31st evening.
First status update: 19 th April 2016, still Admin processing
Second status update: 6th May 2016, still Admin processing but got an email to submit passport for further processing.
Passport submitted: 9th May 2016 at VAC
Third status update: 11th May 2016, Issued around evening 4pm
Passport ready for pickup: 12th May 2016 evening.
Passport collected on 13th May 2016 morning
It took approximately 45 days from the date of interview and 42/43 days aftr document submission.

Hi,
I am an Indian citizen currently working temporarily in Germany and went to Frankfurt for my visa interview. I have a PhD Chemical Engineering and working in a chemical company. Also, I got 221g during my Phd F1 renewal.
When I went for the interview, it was really quick. They took my fingerprints and I went to VO. VO asked about my work and company and he said they require additional processing and gave me 221g yellow slip. I think my degree falls under TAL list. VO took my Resume, Passport, and I-797.
Visa Interview date: April 22nd 2016
Document submission date: April 22nd 2016
CEAC Update: May 10th 2016
Passport shipped: May 11th 2016
I was lucky and my process was completed in less than 3 weeks. Last time in India, it took more than 4 weeks to get my passport.

Officer asked questions on education, thesis and work related questions and handed 221g yellow slip requesting my resume. I have been in their p US with the same employer in 2009 and have I140 approved. I have had multiple H1Bs stamped in India but Toronto consulate gave me 221g. Resume and a letter from the company already sent to the officer the same day and response came back stating they will call me once their review is complete. I hope they resolve soon. Any experiences on the time delays?
Got an email to submit the passport on 4/29 morning and I had mail the passport to the consulate. No in-person services offered by Toronto Consulate. 5/5 status update date changed and 5/6 visa issued. I was offered to pick up the passport at the consulate.
I have used all my connections in the DoS but no luck. We just need to wait or plan for vacation while they sort out the TAL check. The reason of my 221G was my telecom degree and my employer ITAR regulation.
