01/24/20:VO is not convinced with CL as it ended 12/12/19. issued 221G blue slip to submit new CL with there is vacancy for me.
05/02/20 : My employer submitted CL n SOW to US consulate - Chennai.
19/02/20 : No response so far, I called the consulate office and they said processing time varies case to case. It may take up-to 180 days. I am heart broken at the moment. #waiting
20/02/20 : Received email from US consulate Chennai to send my passport in nearby VAC office. I am travelling to Chennai office tomorrow. It was not holiday for them.
21/02/20: Passport © of email dropped at Chennai VAC office. It is delivered to US consulate in same day.
26/02/20: Passport Status : Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate.

27/02/20: Case status changed to ISSUED

16th Jan - Submitted the docs
17th Jan - Case Created.
21st Jan - received the passport with 221G and asked to appear the interview. - Administrative processing
27th Jan - Attended the Interview, and collected the LCA,Client Letter, SOW, W2, Last 2 months paychecks after that issued the 221G
white letter - checked 2nd option, Visa Officer went to his colleugu and discussed my case for 20 mins and then she back and
taken all docs,
4th Feb - Client Check completed.
15th Feb - Still in AP
29th Feb - Still in Administrative processing.
Waiting till. Dont know how many days it will take to complete.

Been in the US for 9 years. Previously a F-1 PhD student. I have been pink slipped twice for that F-1 visa. The second time was TAL.
Currently work at a national lab through a University in Quantum Optics and nanofabrication, since April 2018.
STEM-extension for OPT changed to H1B in August, 2019.
Traveled to India for stamping after end of year. Wasn't necessary but decided it would be good for international conferences.
3rd Jan, 2020 interview. Last question was:
Do you work with any materials? (This generally means that TAL is being invoked)
Given a pink slip and asked to submit all documents (Invitation letter, research, travel, publications).
Sent an inquiry to [email protected] and [email protected] on 26th Jan. Got generic reply from both.
Send second inquiry to CHENNAIHL on 21st Feb. No reply besides the automated one. I think they simply ignored me.
27/02/18: First status date change in 52 days.
28/02/18: Visa "Issued" and in "final processing"
