221(G) Tracker

Attended visa interview on 11/25/2019. This is a first H1b stamping after converting from F1 to H4 to H1. VO asked basic questions about employer F1 status etc and handed over a white slip with 3rd box ticked. All F1 I20's , OPT/CPT, H4 work authorizations and letter from HR have been requested. We have submitted all requested documents on 11/27. I have been a FT employee from the beginnig of OPT and there was no employer change. 12/23-- No update. 03/02... received a call for a re-interview tomorrow. 03/03--- Went for 2nd interview... asked questions on my employer, work authorization status... took my passport 03/04--- 11:00AM ---Returned passport with new white 221G with second box ticked and no documents requested 03/04--- 2PM-- received email from HYDAdmin with subject "Passport requested" and dropped off at 3PM I am only praying to get approved this time. Very much worried on the process.

2/12/19: Interview date. Was given a pink slip and asked to submit documents (Materials background) 11/12/19:Documents submitted, received an acknowledgment mail 04/03/2020: Case Last Updated 05/03/2020: Issued

Interview date - 1/22 Asked me about my job. If our company had a website (we do not). How many people work at my office. Pay stubs. Tax returns. Issued blue slip and returned my passport back to me. Immigration officer said processing shouldn't take too long. Still waiting. 1/22 - interview. AP. 2/21 - Received email to submit passport. Submitted on same day. 2/24 - Your passport is still at the consulate/embassy 3/03 - Changed from Admin Processing to refused when tracked through CEAC tracker. I believe this is due to a change in terminology as it happened to many people 03/04 - Changed from refused back to Admin Processing, and case last updated date is now 03/04 03/05 - Status on CEAC changed to Issued

14-Jan-2020  (1st Consular Interview)After asking basic questions:VO : your Visa is approved and you may collect it after 5-6 working days (Passport kept) 22-Jan-2020 : Received email to collect Passport 23-Jan-2020 : Collected Passport but Visa wasn't stamped and surprisingly found 221g blue slip with 3rd option checked "Appear for the Interview again with Consular" 24-Jan-2020 (2nd Consular Interview):VO asked basic questiosn:Scrapped the old 221g blueslip and handed new 221g slip with Option 1 checked "It will require additional administrative processing" and added manual note beside option 1 "Respond to email" Haven't received any email until now. 25-Feb: After a month, emailed support but same standard reply that case is under review 02-Mar:No update , status still shows AP 04-Mar:CEAC Status changed to "Refused" but last updated date not changed(Found it be a new system update) 05-Mar:Learned, Passports not with embassy will have status as "Refused and with embassy as AP

Interview Date: 02/14/2020 Received 221-G (Yellow), VISA Officer (VO) Took My Passport VO Asked To Submit Police Report (which I couldn't pick from my document bag quickly at the time of the interview, I believe this might be one of the reason for VO giving me 221G, VO said - 'Please send the report once you find to the email address mention in the form'). PS: I gave my original evaluation results during interview to the VO. Document Submitted: 02/14/2020, I scanned my Police Report and sent it to the email address in 221G. On 02/14/2020: After Interview - Status: Administrative Processing, Case Last Updated: 02/14/2020 From 02/15/2020 TO 02/17/2020: -- SAME -- On 02/18/2020: Status: Administrative Processing, Case Last Updated: 02/18/2020 On 02/21/2020: Status: Issued, Case Last Updated: 02/21/2020 On 02/27/2020: Received Passport.

I gave visa interview at the Delhi Consulate on 4th Dec. Officer asked about my job, salary, office location, Master's degree and field. He then asked for my end-client letter. After going through that letter, he asked about the number of vendors in between. After that, he typed something on the keyboard for a few seconds and handed me 221-g blue slip and asked to submit the documents. (i-797, i-129 petition, notarized list of employees, all middle vendor agreements.) I submitted the documents on 10th Dec. (Got auto-response. No other response yet.) Edit: USCIS contacted my end-client with questions regarding my work responsibilities. End-client's attorney replied to the email. Make sure your attorney replies to the email thread, as it adds an additional layer of authenticity for USCIS. I was asked to submit passport within a week of reply [27 Jan.] and collected my passport in the first week of Feb.

My date of birth was corrected in my passport during the passport renewal and then I changed jobs . Hence my new I-94 and 797 was based on my new DOB. The VO was not able to pull my previous 797 records and thought I am traveling to US for the first time. He was able to pull my previous records with my old passport . The VO completed my interview and tagged my case as AP and gave me a blue slip. I was asked to submit records which proves that the DOB change was intentional and not an error in my new passport . I submitted the documents the very next day . The court order which facilitated the change etc . That is on Jan 1st 2020 . But heard back nothing so far . My return travel is on 21st , and will have to cancel the tickets.

Interview on 2/19/2020 - F1 to H1B visa VO asked for client letter which I provided ( dated back to Feb 2019 when the petition was filed). They needed updated client letter and gave me 221G Blue form. Submitted Letter on 2/21. Status used to say Administrative processing, but changed to Refused a few days later . Date of last update was Day of Interview. I am concerned and confused as to whether the Refusal was the 221G refusal or refused after processing as the last update date is 2/19. Case status currently says Refused. A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies etc etc Please clarify my confusion.

Got 221 (g) refusal and issued blue colored slip. This is second time my visa refused under 221(g). Last time i got visa for 1 year only. Lets see what happens this time?

Had my L1B visa interview at chennai embassy under blanket petition. Even though the required documents were available, consulate officer didnot ask and given the pink slip to submit the following informations by email. Resume, invitation letter, research, publications, international travel, contact.
