My wife's (H-4) and my (H-1B) passports got ready to pick-up today. Here are our details:
12-Jan-2015: Biometrics in Hyd
13-Jan-2015: Visa interview. It went extremely smoothly, but VO returned everything (including passports), and gave us a 221 (g) white slip, which said that my application needs further processing. I got an email shortly after the interview. It had a questionnaire that I was supposed to complete. It also mentioned that I must send my resume, list of references, list of publications, and employer invitation letter. I was also asked to send any other documents that I feel would support my case. Status said "Administrative Processing".
14-Jan-2015: I e-mailed completed questionnaire, mandatory and supporting documents.
27-Feb-2015: Change in update date
4-Mar-2015: Got an e-mail to submit passports
6-Mar-2015: Submitted passports
9-Mar-2015: Change in update date
10-Mar-2015: Status changed to "Issued"
11-Mar-2015: Passports got ready to pick-up

Had an interview for H1B and got 221(g) blue. Submitted the documents, now waiting for the update.
12th Feb 2015- OFC
13th Feb 2015- Interviewed and got 221(g), asked 2 more documents through 221(g).
19th Feb 2015- Documents submitted.
05th Mar 2015- Received an e-mail from Chennai Visa team, issued another 221(G), then asked to submit my passport and the new 221(G) both in the nearest Visa Application Centre.
05th Mar 2015- Documents submitted to drop box, as per mail.
06th Mar 2015- Still in AP, but the Status Updated Date changed to today's date, i.e. 06-Mar-2015.
09th Mar 2015- Status changed to 'Issued'
10th Mar 2015- Received email from US travel docs to collect my passport
11th Mar 2015- Passport collected with stamped visa
For me it took 27 days from end to end stamping, i.e. OFC to passport collection.
Hope you'll also get your 221G cleared soon.

I attended the interview on Dec 8,2014. VO asked few questions about my petitioner and gave rules and regulations slip to be followed in US.After few minutes she asked me to wait for some time.I waited for 30 minutes and VO handed over the blue slip to me.There is no specific reason from her and she told that they need some time to take final decision.She returned back the documents and passport.

My wife appeared for H4 visa interview on 01/21/2015. She received blue slip and her visa is under administrative processing. She's been in US under F1 visa and completed Masters in Pharma. She worked on OPT and now converting to H4. Looks like she fell under TAL list. But never expected they will go through such a rigorous process even for H4 visa. It's been five weeks since we submitted documents and still waiting.
Received an email to submit passport today 3/3/2015.

Just wondering, does anybody knows what to expect after submitting the requested documents. I got an automated response from the Mumbai tech team. Not sure, this confirms the receipt of my documents. Any thoughts ?
Also checked my update on CEAC website. It still says "AP". And only states the 01/20/2015. My impression was, the date should change, to give candidate a impression that his/her case is moving. In my case it still shows 1/20/2015 :( not moving .
Any thought folks ?
Today, on 3 March 2015, I received approval.
My timeline: 16 Jan 2015 fingerprinting
20 Jan 2015 Interview, 221 g handed to me
24 Jan 2015 submitted additional documents. Received automated confirmation mail same day.
I called NIV on 8 Feb 2015, to make it sure they did received the expected documents. They confirmed.
3 March 2015, I received mail to submit passport.
