Hi, I have attended visa interview on Sep 29, 2014. VO officer asked few regular questions and asked for client letter. which i did not have that time and he issued me 221g (Blue slip - checked need additional administrative processing), also gave my passport back. Due to some internal reason, i have got the letter from letter in Dec,2014 and submitted the same to embassy through my employer. Jan 5, 2015 there was change in status update and Feb 23, 2015 was recent update. Not sure what will happen.
Does any one have any idea to do follow up on these type of cases.

First time H1b stamping interview. VO asked very few questions, most of them related to my area of work. She said the case has to be sent to Washington DC and reviewed. Work as a Computational Biologist for a Multinational Company . Got my Phd and Masters from the US. VO seemed like a nice guy. He asked me questions about what I do. Asked for my application an just requested my CV from it along with the passport. Said we need further admin processing. He asked me if I have made any travel plans Told him I have and he replied we will try to get it processed before that. My guess and hope is that is just a TAL check.

It took almost 60 days to get the visa. First update was after 60 days and immediately after that got the email to collect the passport.

Was given 221 g green slip, asking for resume, invitation letter, itinerary, travel plans, previous travel dates.
Sent out documents on 12th February, and called up the DOS number, they confirmed receipt of documents. My concern is that I sent an email to [email protected] as well, and for a reply from them mentioning case reason: Hold case 221 G & Refusal 214/B. Does this mean they are considering it for a 214/B refusal as well?
Got email to submit passport today, April 6th 1:30 pm.
Submitted documents on 7th April.
Status updated on 8th April to Administrative Processing.
Status changed to Issued on April 10th. Waiting to receive email to collect passport from local DHL.
Collected passport on 11th April.

Attended the interview on 9th Apr. VO asked basic questions, lasted for 5 mins and retained my passport. Reading other's experiences...Not sure how long its gonna take, in my case..would keep posted. Please let me know if anyone appeared at London consulate and on the same boat as me.

03/03/2015 : VO was very friendly , asked regular questions - Gave me 221 g for Admin processing - VO collected passport , CV and Employer Documents , told me i will receive either a text or email .
04/04/2015 : NO updates yet on CEAC , Cgi Federal shows "Document deliver information: " for over 2 weeks now !!
04/09/2015 : Case Updated on CEAC
04/10/2015: CEAC status changed to ISSUED
TOTAL TURN AROUND TIME : 25 WORKING DAYS !! +/- 2 or 3 local holidays ... Good luck to other fellow members hope you guys will update your cases soon ..
