Feb 10 2020 - 'Case Last Updated' on CEAC website changed from Jan 8 2020 to Feb 10 2020.
Feb 11 2020 (10 AM) - Status changed to 'Issued' on CEAC website.
Feb 11 2020 (4 PM) - Received email to collect passport.
Feb12 2020 - Collected passport from Chennai VAC.

Interview-Feb06-They asked for client letter which I did not have during interview as my employer insisted not to carry. Got 221g - blue slip. My employer submitted the client letter via email on Feb07. Got email on Feb11 from consulate to submit passport along with email copy. Submitted on Feb11 itself. Awaiting response. CEAC tracker still says Administrative processing.

I attended the interview on Dec 16th, 2019 VO asked basic questions about the client and asked me to provide LCA, Vendor letter, Client letter.
I submitted docs on the spot, VO handed over me white slip and checked on the administrative processing box.
As of today, it is one month exactly and there is no change in the case. This process is frustrating..

They already retain my all documents and passport and still no update

Hi,
I attended an H1B interview today i.e 01/17/2020 at hyd ofc. VO took Client letter, LCA and issued 221g white slip. VO marked "Your application requires additional administrative processing before a final decision can be made" and returned the passport. VO said you will get an email to submit a passport for stamping once verification is done. Any idea how much time it will take?
01/24/2020 --- client verification email(client responded)
01/31/2020 --- got an email to submit passport
02/06/2020 --- portal status got updated as issued.
Ustravel docs passport status: Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery

We had an interview as family almost 4.5 years ago. We were not given any slip but we were all put in administrative processing.
Me and my son got our B1/B2 visa 10 days later, but my husband is still in admin processing. September 2018 they called him to the consulate with his passport and they were shocked that his case was pending for 3 years.Then he haa another interview and to this date we are still waiting with no updates..We were on H1B for 6 years prior with no violation whatsoever and then returned to our home country in 2010.

I have attended the H1 visa on 7th , after the standard basic questions, the VO gave a white slip with first option checked.I asked the VO, how long the process should take and he replied it should not take long.
I received the email after couple of hours to submit resume, questionnaire and all past travel history.
Submitted the documents the next day (8th Jan)
Did not follow up with consulate as some where in consulate web page mentioned to contact them after 60 days (as most of the cases will resolve before that time)
got a mail to submit pass port on 4th Feb, submitted on the same day.
Today the 6th the ceas site shows the status as issued, but have not received a mail or text to collect the passport.
Waiting for the message..
Thank you for this tracker to help me (and other in the same boat) to get useful info .

-Been in US for 10+ years (2 masters and a PhD from UT austin) and working for a MNC.
Interview questions: where do you stay/work? whats your salary? can you briefly explain about your PhD ? ..VO types furiously on key board while i answer..sudden question: Do you work on composites? replied: sometimes yes..VO again types on computer..next question: describe your most recent project? I answered (nothing sensitive)
-VO returns passport , white slip and says "Sorry but we need to process your application more and as part of this processing, the application packet will be referred back to USCIS. After they reach a decision which could be about 4 to 5 weeks, we will email you to submit your passport via the drop box if a positive decision is reached, no interview is needed anymore"
Update 01/30/2020: Got email requesting passport. Submitted on 02/02/2020
Update 02/05/2020: tracker status change to "Issued"
