Handed me a 221g with case number and asked to check for an email. Received an email to fill out a questionnaire and asked to attach resume, employer letter. Submitted the questionnaire along with the documents on Dec/04/2019 and there was an update on Dec/06 and Dec/09/2019. My passport was returned with a 221g in it on Dec/12/2019 since then I'm waiting for a passport submit request.
The last update is Dec/09. Administrative Processing

Attended interview on Dec 19 at Hyderabad India location . VO asked some basic questions about (employer, client , location, salary) he took my passport and given 221 g white slip. White slip describes "my application requires additional administrative processing" . Its been 10 days still my status showing as administrative processing. BlueDart did not deliver or reach out, documents got returned to the consulate office in Chennai.
I went in person to collect documents and passport, was handed over my passport along with a 221g blue sheet which mentioned I need to attend an in-person interview. Since I believed I had all the documents, I went in for the interview with my documents.
I was questioned about my employment and documents that were sought in the form. I was then handed another form for documents.
I went the day after to submit the document to the consulate and I was told that I need to come between 10-11 am and was returned and the next day was Friday so they would not collect the documents.
I went on the very next Monday 01/06/2020, I was told I should be submitting documents in a VFS / VAC center (3 days lost there). The passport was not collected during the submission, upon asking was told I would get instructions over email. No updates yet so far.

Hi everyone,
My case: H4 to H1B transfer
Interview date: Nov 25, 2019
I was handed a yellow slip with a request for further documentation. I was carrying all the documents but guess the counselor needed them to be emailed directly to the consulate by my employer.
Documents submitted: Dec 2, 2019, delayed by a couple of days due to Thanksgiving holidays
Its been close to 5 weeks...no updates.
The call center provides a very prescriptive response to call back only after 180 days have been exhausted. Canceled my return ticket. I thought I had kept sufficient time in between interview and return flight...
No idea how long this wait is going to be. The uncertainty is very disturbing. Guess the only thing one can do is wait.
Any idea what kind of email id will the communication be sent from if the consulate emails an applicant? Thanks for the help!
