Hello,
Summarizing my case: I was on H1B before, sponsored by some other organization. Have been on F1, F1-Renewal, H1B, B1-B2 in the past, interviewed at Delhi All went AP :-)
-This time interviewed in Dubai Consulate.Questions asked:
1. Where did you hear about this job opportunity? VO asked for my passport and I-797.
2. Do you know your work rights in the US? VO handed over a booklet to read at that counter.
3. Sponsored from the same organization or is it related to your first H1B-sponsor?
He then returned my passport and I-797, mentioning that your visa will undergo AP; he kept my CV and said to wait for an email and provide the documents asked in the email asap.

Nov 10 '19 =>Interview
Nov 11 '19 =>Recieved email to submit documents related to work/travel history etc.
Nov 17 '19=>Submitted documents/information asked in the email
Dec 22 '19=>Case updated
Dec 26 '19=>Recieved email to submit PP
Jan 2, '20 ~10AM => Case updated, Status "Issued"
Jan 4 '20=>PP+visa deli

A 221G blue slip was given to me on 12.03.2019.
My employer was quick and I submitted all the docs within 48 hours on 12.05.2019. I am waiting to hear back from the US Embassy Consulate now.
12.03.2019: Interview
12.05.2019: Docs Submitted (Full petition, Project Description and Team details)
12.24.2019: No Status Change, No update
12.27.2019: No Status Change, No update
12.30.2019: Email from HL Processing, NIV New Delhi for Passport Submission (Reason: To make a further decision on the Visa)
12.31.2019: Passport Submitted.
01.02.2020: No Status Change, No update, Last case created and updated dates haven't changed even now.
02.02.2020: CEAC still shows in Admin Processing. Case last updated date changed for the very first time and shows 02.02.2020.
Awaiting for passport pick up email. Hope to get it soon.

on ceac website, last updated date was my interview date (i.e. 7th oct). it didn't got update until I submitted my passport.
Last updated date on ceac site is : 3rd Jan, 2020 (One day after passport submitted).
While submitting passport, we need to fill CGI documentation slip (Submission slip). In that form There are two options on it.
A. Document submission for: NIV 221(g)
B. Passport requested for final visa processing.
I did submitted my passport but they checked for me option A which is irrelevant. I again went and ask to change it but they refused to do that.
I'm worried about that option checked because I have seen lot of cases who selected option A is getting delayed for process.
I'm worried about this completely can someone help in understanding, does it matter or where can update that option if I want to ?

L1 A individual visa, staying in US from past few years, had to travel to home town (Blr- India) for an emergency during Oct 2nd week, 2019, couldn't get the appointment slots in Hyderabad and Chennai consulates, so gone to Mumbai for stamping. 16th Oct was Bio-metrics and 17th Oct was an interview with the consulate for the stamping. It was so crowded on that day, everything was delayed, finally gone to the consulate -counter around 11-am, by the time VO/consulate officer was fully tired and was not in a mood to ask any questions. Unfortunately he did not ask any questions other than asking my passport and inquired about the city where am heading to in the USA, the moment I said Dallas, he handed over the yellow slip to me asking for end client letter and Appointment letter. I had gone blank coz till that time I was over confident that I can easily manage the interview, I even requested him that I have the documents readily available with me for his review but he left for a break.

I was asked the usual questions about my employer , responsibilities and pay check etc., and I answered all of them.
I was handed over 221g and asked me to wait for the document list that VO team send to me in an email. I've received an email from them in 3 hours and submitted the employment letter. Am still waiting for some response.

12/26 - Received Email to submit Passport
12/27 - Submitted Passport. Hopefully I will receive the passport soon.
