HI ,
I have appeared for visa interview on oct-18-2019. And VO has asked me some employer and client specific documents again.
I have submitted my documents on oct -24-2019. i got auto reply email, but dont see any update on website, still AP.
Can any one please tell , once we submit what type of acknowledgment we should get ?
is auto reply is the expected reply once you ll submit the documents or they ll let us know if the documents are processing to XYZ department? any sample or reference email can some one please share.

- I have the the I797 A approved until late next year(2020).
- When I came to India, On Sep 6th I had given by documents for dropbox to get the visa stamping done. Those documents were sent back and I asked to attend an Interview at the Mumbai Consulate.
- During the Interview (Sep 17th), my ten fingerprint with my family was conducted.
- The officer handed over 221g (Yellow) form asking to submit the MSA/Contract with the customer and the letter to prove the work at the customer site(client letter). The necessary documents were emailed as per the request to the mumbai consulate email address. This was done on Sep 27th and the portal was updated on Oct 1st with Administrative Processing as the status.
- Since then there does not seem to be a change in the status of my application.

Have been in US for over 4 years. Went for F1 -> H1 stamping in December.
Working for a US software company as a FTE.
11 Dec - Visa interview. Officer approved the visa and kept passport for stamping.
Received email to fill DS-5535 a couple of hours after the interview.
13 Dec - Filled and submitted the form
14 Dec - Passport returned with green 221g slip.
13 Mar - No updates yet. The date on CEAC website still shows 11th Dec.
29 Apr - Still waiting
30 May - Still waiting
11 July - Still waiting
19 Aug - Still waiting
19 Sept - Still waiting
Received an email from US embassy on 5th November to submit passport.
Passport submitted same day. Received passport with visa stamp in 2 days time.

Attended my visa interview on a fine monday morning in Mumbai. :)
VO asked some very basic questions like who is my employer,roles and responsibilities,Masters university name and year of passed out.Salary and handed me over an Yellow slip to submit below documents.
1.A copy of employment contract Agreement letter between Employer and client.
2.Client letter
3.Project description.
4. Itinerary of services or engagements for the specifies the dates of each services.....
I am still not sure what went wrong that day but hoping this gets move fast.
